James Bond: Quantum Of Solace

Grabbed this game the other day.... nice crisp graphics, runs smoothly on my average machine... the game play is great. It has a slight feel of Goldeneye to it in comparison to prior bond bomb outs... visually arousing cut-scenes, film-like weapons arsenal... the only major letdown is the game is extremely short... it took me just over 3 hours to conclude... start to end :-(
Great fun while it lasted though.... just make sure you watch the movie first, otherwise you will spoil the so called "ending" of the movie when you get round to enduring it.

Well, got this a few weeks ago, and i was pretty much gobsmacked at how bad this game is. Got it because i fancyed to play a 007 game that should have everything i like about bond, wrong, far from it. The previous 007 games were pretty fun. But this i have quite i few bad points i want to tell you if your planning on getting this.

Performance on a 8800gtx quad core6600 4gb ddr2 ram and it lags allot! I would put up with a bit i must admit but the frame rate is very bad in this, i look one way and its ok, i look another and shockingly bad. And the sad thing about that, the game looks terrable with full settings. And games like crysis for a performance example runs flawlessly.

The game play is worse than very average, you know what's coming, such as a bit with some enemy's and loads of exploding barrels next to them is ok the first time but every room or section have loads and the game gets tedious by the second from bad voice work by all characters and has pointless missions and mission briefing when all it is is a straight line level.
Every weapon acts like its broken as aiming through the reticle at a persons head and using a hole clip in them before the shocking aiming system realises im aiming at the head and the guy finally dies its almost laughable witch it is. You can only pull of things like that with a pistol at close range.

If your looking for a game to get you of cod5 or halo or whatever, this is not the one.

Well ive only played the demo so far but ordered the game! Graphics look very good on pc as you would expect! And i think that its jsut liek alll the other bonds but jsut with that little extra! And the windows live added in makes it very good shame that it does not have cross platform compatbility but ah well the multiplayer i think brings a whole new meaning to the bond games! And for this price i would buy it now! Well done play!

This game will nether compete with call of duty or battlefield bad company 2 but it is still a great game. You need good specs but the multiplayer is great (based straight from the COD4 engine). he campaign is short and tedious but most people would buy this game for the multiplayer. You an also play against anyone on xbox live. I bought it so I could play against my brother (on the xbox) whilst online (no loal multiplayer). Golden Gun is really fun where somenone has a pistol loaded with grenade like bullets and everyone aims to kill him and pick up the gun. If your parents won't let you have a 16 then this is definately worth getting. One last note: The graphis and gameplay appear to be slightly better on the xbox version.

it is a very short game, also it is very easy. I've managed to complete it in 1 DAY from 10 am till 4 pm. It's got very good graphics and also a good gameplay. Personally don't buy it, it's no value for your money.
