     Superb game with great graphics...

The game runs flawlessly on my AMD Radeon 6900. Perfect controls and stunning level design make RAGE a true pleasure to play. So much more fun than over hyped titles like Battlefield 3. Buggy racing and some light RPG elements are a nice addition but above all this is a focused action game. If you're into IDs legacy you're gonna love it.

best game for ages. games need to be fun, if I want complicated and difficult I go to work. This is brilliant interesting and rewarding, a proper FPS with a good story and great weapons and vehicles.

     Decent Shooter

Overall it's a very decent shooter. Battles with enemies are satisfying, driving around the wasteland is fun, but it does not feel coherent.
Given that this has been crafted by 3DFPS legends it's somewhat of a disappointment. It's fun while you play it, but it's forgotten quite quickly. There are no memorable moments and you don't get drawn into story or characters. Although they made some effort to create a number of diverse characters.
And it's over very quickly. You expect that you just get started and there are the end credits already.

Started playing this game last week and may i say it is cracking fun, yes it is very linear but the graphics are brilliant if you have the machine to run everything on Ultra settings.

amazing game with undeniable technical flaws

to start with this could have been awesome and i still genuinely love this game from the light rpg elements too the way the weapons feel and the cool different ammo you can use.also the driving doesnt feel tedious its really fun which is an achievement for id as i find driving in fps's usually sucks big time time so kudos for that.but the screen tearing is really bad with my amd card(6870) im not particualarly techy but even im noticing it so it must be bad but too say it's a bad console port just isnt true id clearly put a hell of a lot of love into this game just a shame they couldnt properly iron out all the issues with it story so far seem's good doesnt force you too be the all powerfull hero as most games do but instead your just another small pawn in the big bad wasteland lol.anyway great game and if they patch out the more obvious issues it's got it would be a game i'd fully reccomend as it is i wouldnt which is shame.

     Decent game, no issues

I had no issues on an ATI 5770 gpu, after installing 11.10v2 drivers from AMD the game ran on full spec 1920x1080.

Decent story ( based on a novel) graphics are great, gameplays fantastic, AI and character animation are very good.

The people complaining of it being a console port are wrong, the whole issue happens because of the new pc developed technology not working with certain gpus.
My friends have the following cards and played without problem, 5770,5650,6850,6970 and a 560 and 580, and they all worked no problems. I'm sure the game will run on most systems now the patch is out.

     Absolutely beautiful

I was weary when I first purchased this following poor reviews but id make fantastic games and this is no different. Set in a post apocalyptic future, you wake up from your long stint in stasis to find a world ravaged. Enemies are scary as hell, jumping off walls and the like making you keep your guard up at all times.

The world is huge and beautifully rendered. It is true that the game is buggy but can be fixed with a simple driver upgrade. Google amd / ati / nvidia rage driver and this will fix all of the bugs. A slight annoyance but well worth it once completed.

I would've given this game 5 stars except it seems torn between an RPG and a shooter. You have to complete tasks to get what you want, ie weaponry, transport etc. This can become a little tiresome but doesn't detract the fact that id still know how to make some of the best shooters out there.
