The official game of the 2008 season, MotoGP 08 features all the official riders, bikes and tracks from this year's event providing the definitive two-wheeled racing experience. MotoGP 08 puts the player at the centre of the MotoGP experience by letting them join a team and compete alongside their sporting heroes in all three race classes - 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP. The game features a scaled and competitive A.I. which adjusts within limits to give a more enjoyable race experience on the lower levels but shows no mercy in the higher levels.

Up to twelve friends can race on any track from the MotoGP season. Online players will be free to select any bike from the 125cc, 250cc and GP class and race any of the manufacturer bikes, competing in individual races. Players will have the ability to set up a custom match search and create their own match setting of up to twelve players in total.

Three different handling models - arcade, intermediate and simulation - provide varied racing experiences and accessibility for all
Ride as yourself and compete against riders from the world's premier motorcycling championship - racing up to 33 opponents
Select from 125cc, 250cc and MotoGP bike classes with each offering a different race experience
Set competitor A.I. to match skill level with four A.I. levels - Easy, Medium, Hard and Champion
Pit your riding skills against players from across the globe in a number of online modes
Includes new 2008 season additions of night racing and Indianapolis circuit

More arcade than moto gp 07,needs a high spec PC and you can't use a joystick.

Has all the updated tracks riders ect ,graphics are great .
A real improvement over the last moto gp.
This game runs well on my low end laptop or my high end pc.
Oh and yes you can use a joypad to play it.

2 A step backwards

My family enjoyed moto gp 2003 and I thought this would be a nice upgrade for my new computer. However it is not really any better and it does not support any game pads or controllers apart from an xbox controller. So either buy a PC xbox controller which I'm not prepared to do as I am more then happy with my pair of rumble pad 2s or play on the keyboard which is not acceptable. If you want a nice racing game get gtr evolution which plays very well with the above controllers.
