This game is awesome, probably the greatest video game of all time. I can give it no higher praise.
However, ensure your pc can run the game, which needs both a powerful GPU and CPU. I have had the game for a year and have been running it on my AMD 2.4ghz dual core but it has been slow to load and suffers from poor frame rate. I recently upgraded to ATI4670HD and an AMD 3.0ghz CPU and it now runs beautifully.

firstly, if you are looking for first class graphics and physics and the GTA game experience - this will not disapoint - rockstar have done a great job. however......installation is a total mess and takes an age. you have to go through windows live and a pile of other unnessesary rubbish, registering and logging in to god knows what. i can't understand why you dont just put in the disc and away you go.
loading the game also takes ages - my pc is running 5.9 vista experience - it is almost like loading a tape game on the old zx spectrum the time it takes.
logging in is also hit and miss.
save your cash and go for san andreas
