The story begins as an unidentified paramilitary force infiltrates a multi-billion dollar aerospace compound. The government responds by sending in Special Forces, but loses contact as an eerie signal interrupts radio communications. When the interference subsides moments later, the team has been literally torn apart. As part of a classified strike team created to deal with threats no one else can handle, your mission is simple: Eliminate the intruders at any cost. Determine the origin of the signal. And contain this crisis before it spirals out of control.

 Fear F.E.A.R

As much as i love the the decent graphics and intense FPS-action, i found this game just doesnt offer anything new.

However, and thats a big however, even though it is the 'same-old' fps type game, the game does however scare the hell outta you!

The game does has some Max Payne-esque scenes where in a split second your whole environment changes to something disturbing.

I found the scare (more jumpy) factor is a good enough reason to get the game. Buy the game just for the experience or if you've got a sudden urge for a bit of scare!

 Lights out it's fright time.

F.E.A.R indeed, what the title referes to doesn't have anything to do with what your first thoughts are. But that will all change once you are in the game, yes this is one of the best fps/horror games ever released and shall remain a classic for some time i would imagine. Graphics were excellent when this was released and are still pretty damn good now. Some of the best slow-mo ever in a game other than probably max payne and red dead redemption. Play this game in the dark with the sound up and you are sure to get a few jumps. Great game with a good story a must on the pc.

Let me say to begin with that the original F.E.A.R is the best in the series. Graphics are outstanding and the intense gameplay will keep you on the edge of your seat all the time.

Players take control of a new F.E.A.R member called Point Man who is sent on a mission to retrieve a telepathic commander called Paxton Fettel.

The player will be encountering lots of replica soilders who are actually very clever, they will attempt to flank, force the player out of a spot and hide around corners. Gameplay is fast, intense and you'll have a nice collection of guns to pump lead into your targets as you make your way to stop Paxton.

As the game's title suggests the player will have alot to fear in this game, from supernatural events to the appearances of the mysterious little girl. The game will make you jump and scare you in alot of places in the first play through.

A great game from start to finish and I'll recommend to anyone who is looking for a great solid shooter and a good scare!

 Believable Horror, Shooter!

I thought fear was just another shooter game gone scary, but this game competes with top sellers out there. The story keeps you gripped and suspended in the intense, horrofying action. Then you jump online where the action is even more fast paced, giving you the chance to develop your skills against other players. Multiplayer allows you to modify your profile, changing the way you look and act. In all a brilliant campaign and multiplayer game...
