Microsoft Flight Simulator X: Gold Edition

I brought my new PC specificly to play two games. One being Crysis and the other being this. I don't regret spending a peny, this game is superb in every way. The graphics are stunning and the missions are incredibly varied and enjoyable, one minute your soaring in a glider and the next your chasing unidentified flying objects over Area 51. I would say you need the acceleration pack without doubt, i don't see the point of owning FSX without it. Acceleration features some of the best missions and of course includes that incredible F-18 which is unlike any other aircraft in the game, trying to land that baby on a carrier is alot of fun. As is trying to master the red bull air race, this game just goes on and on, its just a shame the team that created this masterpiece are no more.

Unfortunately the system requirements are huge! If you arent sure whether your pc will run the game or not then i recommend you download the free demo first. It is worth noting that this game still looks incredible with low graphic settings set up so if youve been holding off thinking it won't run on your PC, you may be pleasently suprised?

This pack is brilliant!! I used to play flight simulator x but it never used to run well on my pc. Now upgraded to Phenom quad core and 9800GTX and with SP2 and accelleration add-on this baby flies!! The DX10 graphics (once enabled) are truely amazing.

i brought this game on sunday and its worth every penny the choice of airports and aircraft is outstanding i would recomend it to any wanna be pilot.

For any aspiring pilot it's a must buy game. Great graphics, generally very enjoyable
