7th in the series and i have a feeling the non-fan boy crowd may have drifted away after the first 4 were released.
Like in the previous game (THUG2) you are introduced with 2 singleplayer gameplay modes. Classic and Story Mode.
Classic mode consists of the same old tasks involving obtaining high scores and collecting items. The levels themselves are slightly disappointing and can be quite dull compared with previous encounters. The tasks have also been seen before.
Its the story mode where the game excels. Funny in parts, slightly more challenging and definitely more entertaining.
I found the graphics to be very decent but are starting to show their age when you compare the game to the current Xbox 360 game.
The game as a whole is very short (especially if you play normal mode) but unlocking characters, movies, cheats will help lengthen the game. It took me around a week or so (1/2 hours a night) to complete but i haven't played the 'Sick' mode as of yet.
The freestyle moves and the inclusion of a BMX bike on every level adds a bit of variation to the game. Its almost as if the genre is branching out into a RPG with the emphasis on making money as well as pulling off large combos and tricks.
Creating skateparks, editing your own character, online mode are all still there and haven't had any major change from previous games.
