Timeshift takes the first-person shooter to an entirely different dimension marked by erratic time and unrelenting action.
Players take on the role of Colonel Michael Swift, a renowned and recently retired test pilot, who has accepted an offer from the US Government to test out two of the most significant inventions of the century. Armed with a time-control device called the Quantum Suit and a time machine called the Chronomicon, Swift is briefly sent back in time to plant an experimental probe. Upon his return to the present, a major shift has occurred.
The world he left has changed beyond all recognition. And his intimate knowledge of the true time stream has made him an enemy of the state. Swift is both on the run and on a mission to set time straight once again.

the idea is sound however the way these people at sierra have gone about it leaves a lot to be desired really.
pro's:
1. great graphics especially from a great distance.
2. good weapon choice.
3. nice flash backs.
4. it is well built.
con's.
1. your way too weak and a few bullets can kill you if your careless or slightly offline or simply have no idea.
2. not enough energy for timeshifting.
3. some areas which require timeshift leave a bit of confusion as to how to go around it.
4. the boss monster level sucks big time.
5. your weapon aim is crude, it is vital to be able to kill your enemy before the enemy kills you and aim is important.
in my opinion this game and its jewel case should be more useful and less frustrating as a door wedge to be honest.

A very nice idea, graphics aer also very good, if you have a good machine, the storyline is alright and the gameplay is unique, but in a good way. For ths dirt cheap price, i would most definately buy it, i baught it because i was bored,a nd it was cheap. For a shooter, its not brilliant, but its still fun. Give it a try.
Graphics: 8/10
