ARMA II: Armed Assault

ARMA 2 is the only true open world war game on market at the moment. You can play everywhere on a huge 225 square kilometer terrain and create infinite amount of different scenarios in the mission editor. (You can have hundreds of units from different factions fighting simultaneously.)

With the latest 1.04-patch the game is stable and mostly bug free considering the overwhelming size and scope of the game.

ARMA 2 is best played with a group of friends on a realistic mission. It includes built-in VOIP and JIP (join-in-progress).

This game is not your average corridor shooter where you move from checkpoint to checkpoint killing bad guys and then repeat. In ARMA 2 the missions can take hours (if you choose so) and you can use real military tactics better than in any other title release so far.

Anyone complaining about bugs obviously didn't start playing the original game "operation flashpoint" when it first came out. It was full of bugs, but BiS do an excellect job of constantly releasing patches and updating their game. If it isn't quite running to your expectations at the moment there is no doubt it will be soon, And those of you complaining it won't run on your new packard bell system, well..... duh! Try spending what you just spent for your new system on your graphics card and go from there.

This game is just a piece of boring GLITCH. If you are into online multiplayer gaming don't buy this game it will 100% disappoint you.

This game is brilliant, i only had to watch the trailer to buy it. I mean this is every mans dream to experience war from the comfort of your pc chair. I am enjoying this game a great deal, the only let down is that the A.I of your comrades in campaign mode has bugs but a quick reload of the game and you are away again. This game will appeal to anyone with an imagination and patience, what i love about the game is the unexpected things that occur......wont spill the beans just give it a shot..

Fantastic game that never gets old, community is constantly releasing new maps, missions and addons - almost all are top shelf quality and all of that for free.
Not a game for run and gun style players who are not prepared to change their gaming style but if the patience and some time is something you can spare, there is no going back to anything else out there!
To get most out of it join a clan or a organized online war simulation games and experience extremely realistic battles.

I know I sound like I work for Bohemia Interactive, but I don't care, I also will be buying their expansion pack OP Arrowhead as soon as it becomes available.
