This game is amazing. I have never played a Deus Ex game before so I really didnt know what to expect. The cut scenes are awesome and the voice dialogue is also very good and the graphics are amazing. the Game play is smooth and intense and the control system is very good. Had a couple of issues with mouse sensitivity but soon sorted that out in the options (had my razor mamba on the lowest DPI settings at first and it was still too fast).

Dont get why a couple of reviewers on here say the graphics are terrible and gameplay is laggy and choppy and in need of a patch. Cause I think there amazing I have everything maxed out and running a Intel Core i7 2600K Processor - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 580 1536MB Graphics Card - 6GB RAM and I have no problems what so ever. game play is solid and lag free.

People dont be put off by a couple of negative reviews as if you dont buy this game you will really miss out on something special.

Played 14 hours solid yesterday with the odd break and I cant wait to leave work to get back on it : )

PS (this is my first ever review and I really had to write this just to tell you how awesome this game is)

Its all about quailty this game, they have paid attention to detail and it makes the world believable, been playing for about 5 hours, game crashed twice ^^ doesn't bother me. I was a big fan of the originals and this looks to be in the same mould, I would advise playing on hard to give yourself a challenge and fully enjoy the game and its secrets :) combat is very good though when needed just got my hands on a sniper rifle .... so far so good I would definately recommend on what I have seen so far. Storyline, characters, cutscenes and atmosphere are excellent. (feels a bit like blade runner with the music) If you were a fan of the original you will definately love this I think anyone that enjoys using their brain a little will also enjoy this game. Looking forward to the next thief game..

 something just feels lazy

The artwork, storyline, ingame cut-scenes and the very idea of this game are of a good quality, but the graphics and control system seems 10 years old. It feels at times very lazy i don't know what graphics engine they used but it is truely cringe worthy when the characters start talking. You shoot a character and they dont seem to flich let alone take any damage. I was expecting a modern day BLADE RUNNER from the look of the adverts but it fails to meet expectations. Come on guys you made it look great, just should have just bought the unreal tournament engine and have done with it.

I love shooters, this is my sort of game.
Its one of those shooters with some roleplay, but its so seemless and well thought out nothing gets in the way of the story and action.
There is also a perfect balance of stelth and guns blazing.
With key story missions, and additional side missions there is room for replayability here.
You travel through some memorable worldwide futuristic locations, meeting people, shooting bad guys and investigation who is behind a golbal conspiracy. you have upgrades to buy as you progress which give you, more armour, better ain, stelth, vistion and other cool features. It definatly has atmosphere, and if you've seen harrison ford in Blade Runner, you do feel like you playing him, the designers must have loved that film.
Overall, fun, polished, quality, its up there with the best.

 Needs patching soon as

Great game spoilt by numerous bugs .Played the game for around 12 hours with around 100 crashes in that time.i have a very high end pc 2 x 6950s, eyefinity,975EE CPU,12gb ram and the game runs like S$%T. Tried numerous settings with no luck.AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE UNTIL A PATCH IS OUT!
