One hundred years have passed since the evil Sorcerer Zarok was defeated at the Battle of Gallowmere, heroically cut down by a mortally wounded Sir Daniel Fortesque. Or at least, that's what the people were told; in fact poor Sir Dan was a bit of a coward, falling in the very first wave of arrows. Now Zarok has returned, turning day into night, and raising an undead army to conquer the land. As a side effect Dan has also been resurrected... now, he has the chance to defeat Zarok and in death become the hero he never was in life.
  • Follow Dan's quest across the magical land of Gallowmere, taking in oodles of varied levels, gazillions of combat moves and bucketloads of weapons
  • As the enchanting storyline unfolds, become enthralled in the MediEvil universe
  • a weird and wonderful place bursting with action and boundless humour
  • Two handfuls of splendid multiplayer mini-games, with WiFi compatible multiplayer support
  • In-game help system in the form of the Voodoo Witch and in-game manual located in Dan's crypt.

 MediEvil Memories

MediEvil: Resurrection is a fantastic remake of the true Playstation classic MediEvil (released in 1998). Resurrection remains faithful to the original game in terms of plot and gameplay, it remains a swashbuckling tale of redemption on behalf of the games hapless hero Sir Daniel Fortescue, a 13th century knight who took the glory of winning a famous battle, despite having fallen in the first charge. The gameplay is a mix of platforming and hack and slash that hasn't aged one bit. The soundtrack is superb and each track is a remake of the original music, which is a heartwarming blend of classical and gothic music, standout track is Welcome to Gallowmere, which serves as the main theme. However some things have changed, level design has been completely overhauled and new weapons have been introduced, however all are influenced by the original game and are instanlty recognizable to fans of the origingal game. Resurrection is an odd occurrence in the video game industry, a remake that remains faithful the original game but that is different enough to attract new games. 10/10, a solid game perfect for the Playstation Portable.

 Very entertaining...

I used to have this game on the Play Station years ago and it was always one of my favourites. The PSP version is basically the same game so having not played it for years I was, once again, very well entertained.

It's humorous and enjoyable in a very simple way; it's a refreshing adventure game compared to a lot of the more gory and violent ones we've become used to.

The story works and the character is likeable. The graphics are pleasant and not over the top. In essence, I would recommend this to all gamers who don't like to take themselves too seriously but don't want an easy game that they can complete in a couple of hours.

 Fun game

this is a remake to remeber. the story and plot are pritty much the same as the orginal ps1 title, however everything else is diffrent. Several locations are still playable however i did notice a few places had been removed e.g. sunken town of mellowmead. the weapons are pritty cool each effecvtive against diffrent targets altho i do miss the chicken drum sticks. this game is both humourus and adventure giving id recomend it to thos who love sir dan, altho it would probably be unlikly id look forward to medievil 2 remake.

 My favourite game on psp
