The story begins a few years after the conclusion of "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time." The Prince has returned to Babylon, to find himself hunted by a supernatural creature bent on his destruction. Forced to live a life on the run, he seeks counsel from an old mystic, who explains that the Prince's actions have spawned a creature known as the Dahaka. In saving the Sultan's palace from destruction, the Prince created a rift in the Timeline. The Dahaka intends to repair this problem - by ending the Prince's life. The Prince quickly realises that there's only one way to end his troubles: journey to the birthplace island of the Sands of Time, find a way to travel into the past, and stop the Sands from being created. He sets sail for the island immediately...

A warrior reborn. The Prince returns with deadlier skills, a darker heart and a craving for battle.

Free-Form fighting system. Exclusive new technology lets you engage in combat with no boundaries and create your own unique fighting style. Plus, an all-new projectile attack system allows long range combat tactics.

Acrobatic fighting system. Grab enemy and then decide whether to throw them, finish them off or use them as a shield.

Variety in enemies behaviour. Large variety of abilities: some enemies have long distance weapons or attacks, others have acrobatic attacks.

Play longer. Hours upon hours of action await in your fight for survival, including 2 different endings and 50 weapons to find and master.

The powers of time. Thanks to the talisman Farah gave him at the end of "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time," the Prince still has the ability to control time.

           More Hack and Slash Action

This game is alright, but could be better. I played Prince of Persia: Rival Swords and found it to be a high quality RPG that I could really sink my teeth into, but this game failed to enthrall me as much to be honest.

The graphics are excellent as always but the storyline is somewhat exluded from this particular title, although details of the plot are explained in the user manual.

If you are looking for a quality Adventure RPG, then I doubt that you will find what you are looking for in this game. If, on the other hand, you want a Hack and Slash adventure then this title will fulfil all those gaming needs...

Its an ok game but I do prefer Prince of Persia - it has more action to it.

Great game, great graphics, and a great story, the story of the sands of time is one of the best in gaming history i think,

           Very Good

This is the first sword type game I decided to buy for my psp...I made a good choice. At first I didn't have a clue what was going on and I thought it was one of those pirate arcade games. But after 5 minutes of gameplay I was relieved to find out because I was thinking oh dear I've made a bad choice.

The sword play in this game is vey good, one of the best I've seen and it combines well with the acrobatics you can utilise with the combat skills. The story is a bit hard to understand if you're not a regular Prince Of Persia fan(like me. The in-game graphics are very good, not brilliant but good. The cutscene graphics are excellent though looking nearly HD.

          Gameplay: 9/10
