Thanks EA.. for ruining the Road Rash games!

Most of the games in this collection are old Sega Megadrive titles but, in a bizarre twist, Road Rash, Road Rash II and Road Rash III do not contain any of the original, classic music by Rob Hubbard. Instead you get some awful, looped dance music. In Road Rash I & II, there's not even any title music! It's even more strange, considering that none of the other games in this collection have been tampered with like that.

Desert & Jungle Strike are pretty much intact emulations of the old Megadrive games, although there are some problems with some of the sound effects.

Budokan is still very very boring and unresponsive, just like the original, but great for a nostalgia trip.

Syndicate is fun, but tricky (I always preferred Syndicate Wars myself). It's not the PC version though, it's the SNES version.

Mutant League Football is a great take on American Football and The Haunting is quite original. Again, these are the Sega Megadrive versions.

I never played the rest of the games in this compilation before so can't really compare them. I mainly bought this collection for some Road Rash nostalgia and EA have ruined that for me; hence the low score.

Brings back memorys. not all good though...

Well.. if you played more than 3 or 4 of these titles in the past, then this is worth buying!
Most of the games are ports from the sega mega drive.
some like wing commander are PC or SNES versions.

Too many games to mention their good points, if your thinking of buying this, then chances are you will know what you want to play, and be familliar with certain games anyway.

My main gripe with this is the fact that some games are missing quite a lot of features, in particular, the road rash series, 2 is missing its great music, and others are missing features like NPC players profiles, and certain cinematics. same with the Desert/jungle strike ect, certain details have been left out, or altered.
Also, i found the Wing Commander games almost impossible to handle on the PSP's controls.
These seem to be a direct port of the PC version whitch suffered from bad up-close graphics, whitch on a PSP are 10 times worse than they ever were on the PC.

Despite some control glitches, and a lot of content from various games that shouldnt have been left out for the PSP version, this pack is decent, just a little dissapointing for the nostalgic gamer.

Best retro game i've ever played

This is by far the best game i've bought that remind me of been a teenager again. You soon remember all the places you could never get past. Its so much easier than finding a working mega drive and then all these games. the option of been able to save at any point of any level really helps too. Really worth £10 for anyone who played these games originally.

 ok

some of the games like road rash are good. but some are poor and some of the games are not as good as they were! but still for me a good buy for £10
