The Power Stone Collection includes enhanced versions of Power Stone and Power Stone 2, which were originally released for the Sega Dreamcast and arcades. These fast and furious 3D brawlers put a new spin on "last man standing" as characters take each other on in frenzied match ups amidst fully interactive environments. Utilizing a simple control scheme, players can execute standard moves such as punches and kicks but the deeper power struggle comes in the form of "power stones." Fighters vie to collect these gems in order to tip the scales in their favor, as nabbing three will allow them to transform into super fighters that can perform devastating power moves. In addition, a variety of zany weapons and the ability to use environments in creative ways allow an incredible level of freedom and depth beyond the typical fighting game. Multiplayer support via the PSP system's ad hoc mode raises the stakes as friends duke it out in frenzied no holds barred battles.
  • Two players in Power Stone and up to four in Power Stone 2 can battle it out to see who will reign supreme!
  • Game sharing function allows up to three others to play using a single UMD disc
  • Wacky new weapons join the existing arsenal of both titles for added comical mayhem
  • Training mode - practice makes perfect as beginners and experts alike can hone their skills and test drive items and weapons
  • Screenshot mode - pause the game during a fight and adjust the camera to take a perfect snapshot to commemorate the glory moments
  • Upgraded camera system - not only will players get a wider view of the action, tailored for the PSP system's widescreen, but they can also toggle between wide, mid and close range views of the action at any time
  • Unlockable bonuses including weapons, items and more

 Good title

To start off ignore the previous user comment, no idea how that went through play.com.

This game here is the complete port of the dreamcast power stone 1 and 2.

The game is good, but for some odd reason it doesnt quite feel like the dreamcast version, i have both games on the dreamcast as well. This is maybe because of the PSP controls, but dont let that stop you playing this, its a pretty awesome game and will give you hours of fun.

And at £9.99 now that is a pure bargain, i remember buying this on the psp when it was £30!!!!
I still have this game now and still play it and would recommend it to any1 who wants a crazy beat up or wants something fresh really.

 omg how repetitive

This is one of the most repetitive games i have ever played EVER. if u liked games like tom and jerry war of the whiskers or simpsons wrestling then ye this is the game for you but my personal opinion is wat aloud of rubbish there is a mega lack of characters and they just all look so stupid.

 capcom coolness

The powerstone collection from first play is a really enjoyable game
with impressive visuals on psp. The only gripe i had with this game is the loading when selecting characters and games. Apart from that the levels, power ups and weapons that you can obtain make the game all the more fun. Ive always been a fan of capcom
games. With this they show there cool character designs and visual flair making it another memorable button bashing beat em up. i paid 10 pound when i bought this and at the price it is on here i would highly recomend this.
