World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions takes a story-based approach as it puts players on the Circuit as a newly turned poker pro and under the wing of Chris "Jesus" Ferguson as his protégé. Players will test their skills against the world's best poker pros in the premier Circuit Events in hopes of qualifying for the winner-take-all, invitation-only Tournament of Champions at the Rio Resort in Las Vegas.

This is the first poker game I have tried on the PSP. You are a green poker player trying to make his name amongst the big boys and the only real way to do this is sit at the green baise and starting betting on cards. The format works well and the load times are good. There is plenty of scope to keep your entertained for hours at a time and whilst the commentary can become repetitive in the main it is solid. Some cons: sneezing as a background sound gets very irritating, the casino interiors leave a lot to be desired and the other players can play some mindboggling decisions but in the main it holds up well. Can't compare it but liked it all the same. Good purchase.

This game is a great game and is my favourite poker game at the moment, however there are a few problems. Number one is that the 'create a player' options are rather restricted. Also, the gameplay can get a bit tedious after a while. Don't get me wrong though, this is a highly recomended buy.
