Yu-Gi-Oh! appears on the PSP for the first time and with it comes a major new gameplay addition - Tag Duels. For the first time, players will control two characters when dueling and can switch between the two at any time, bringing with it not only a whole new tactical dimension when playing but also a second deck of cards, doubling your potential moves!

The single player story mode starts with you arriving at the Duel Academy as a fresh faced, new student. The ultimate aim for the player is to compete in and win the Tag Duel Tournament being held three months from when they enroll at the Academy. By talking to people in the Academy and battling them, the trust rating will rise and once it is high enough, players will be able to pick their Tag Duel partner and the game begins in earnest.

The game benefits from the power of the PSP with improved sound and graphics, meaning the experience of playing Tag Battle is closer than ever before to that of starring in an actual cartoon! And with so many cards to find - over 2,400 to be precise - there's an incredible amount of longevity in this title. Players can buy or rent cards in game, as well as earn them by completing events and tasks.

The wireless connection is also put into good use as players can play a friend in a one-on-one Tag Battle through these wireless facilities, giving friends the opportunity to put their Tag Battle credentials on the line and play in their own championships!
  • The First Yu-Gi-Oh! Game For PSP!
  • Based on the Top-Rated Yu-Gi-Oh! GX Cartoon
  • Tag Team Duels - Play with Two Decks
  • Over 2,400 Cards
  • 1-On-1 Wireless Duels

Nice game, you'll waste hours in front of your psp duelling and with the over 2000 cards in the game you'll waste more time trying to buy and make your perfect deck. nice graphics but nothing special. after the first week of gameplay you may get bored cause it a routine game.

 Lets Duel!

Overall, Yu Gi Oh! GX Tag Force is a brilliant strategy game that has many advantages up its sleeve to keep players attention, sadly, however, with a boring story mode that game suffers extremely badly with a monotonous tone and after a while, players will go in search of something more eventful. The duelling is fuelled with so much attention it is a shame the game overall is not. Especially since only Yu Gi Oh fans will want to play this, which again is a shame because strategists will love this. Mix that with being overly difficult at times, I would not recommend this game to anyone but a fan of the show.

 Great fun!

This is a brilliant game, for all of you yu gi oh fans, I have had this game ages now, stil playing on it, overall a wicked game, if you have had a yu gi oh game before (like my nightmare troubadour for DS) You will be astounded by how many cards there are overall. Tag duels are brill also, i pick the charecter that most matches my cards.

An absoulute must have!

bought this game about a year ago and i'm still playing it. its great fun building decks and trying them out. you don't need any knowledge of the card game to play this either as it gives you a full tutorial. the only thing stopping this from being 5 stars is that the gameplay can get a little repetetive at times. apart from that this is the best game i've played on the psp

if u like the cartoon series ul luv dis u play a new student who u have to name. u are based in the slifer dorm. this game has a lot in it as well as amazing duels against well known and unknown characters, u cancustimise your deck and u have to become friends with people lyk jaden, sirus, zane, alecis, chad so they will become yr tag partner. it does get a bit boring in between tests and other events as there is not much to do but duel.
