At £10 I had to give this 4 stars as this makes it value for what you get. The game is split into 5 categories of test - Logic, memory, maths, language and concentration. The game has 2 single player modes. Practice asks you to pick one of the 5 categories and then one of the 3 sub-games in the category. Each has 3 difficulty levels. Test takes you through them all where your tested to a time limit. The difficulty changes after you answer a certain amount of questions and at the end you get an overall score.

Compared to the other psp game 'mind quiz' this game has a better presentation with a 3D environment and character. But the game depth, difficulty level, and options are way off that of 'mind quiz'.

If you like these games this is worth £10 as there are some really good tests in the game, but if you only want one then buy 'mind quiz' for the reasons mentioned above, but at this price i'd get both.

I've given 3 stars for at least the attempt to bring Brain Training to the PSP.

However, the PSP really is wasted on stuff like this. Plus, it's not the best format for it, and it means that every answer is multiple choice (even arithmetic), which is not nearly as rewarding as coming up with the answer all by yourself.

Brain Training games are best suited for the DS and for mobile phones, and that is the way it should stay in my opinion - both those formats have the ability to quickly input an answer not from a multiple choice. Not wasting time having to select from multiple choice and simply giving the answer as soon as you know it makes a big difference to how your brain benefits from these games.

If however, it is the only Brain Training game available to you, it is recommended. It would be moreso if it wasn't for the questionable "hot brain" idea which is hardly scientific
