One of the highest-rated handheld games of all-time, Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars, will be making its way to the PSP Autumn 2009.

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars follows the story of Huang Lee, a young Triad who travels to Liberty City after the mysterious death of his father. Within the game, players will navigate their way through the streets as they uncover the truth behind an epic tale of crime and corruption within the Triad crime syndicate, delivering the unprecedented amount of depth that has become a true trademark of the franchise. Specifically built for the PSP platform with upscaled widescreen graphics, enhanced lighting and animation; and including all-new story missions; this version of Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will take full advantage of the power of the PSP!

 Better than the DS version

Its a great GTA and its much better than the DS version you can see everything thing so clearly now, and it all looks much nicer, And its nice to see Rockstar actually took the time to create a good game that suits the portable consoles well instead of trying to force GTA4 on the portable consoles

 Disappointing!

I was looking forward to playing this game, but as soon as I started it I was disappointed.
First thing, the cut scenes are just pictures with subtitles, no videos which makes it boring.
Secondly, it has gone back 10 years in terms of graphics, they are very cartoony and it is an aerial view like the old GTA games on the PS1 and PC.
It is definately not worth £25, if you really want it, Id wait until the price drops - its not worth more than £10!
Such a disappointment :o(

 Amazing

Usually if i review a game i write quite a lot. For this game, i can convey my opinion simply as "if ever you buy just one game for the psp - this must be it".

I hope r* use this perspective for all their future handheld gta's.

 Genuinely impressive.

Despite having quite enjoyed the first two GTA PSP games, I wasn't too excited about Chinatown Wars, especially after seeing it make a Nintendo DS appearance.

Just goes to show that first impressions aren't always right.

GTA CW is, from what I've played so far, an excellent game. The overhead view is fantastic and makes a welcome return to the original look of the first GTA games.

Despite there being a lack of voice acting and a very simple (but effective) music collection, the game is hugely enjoyable. A variety of missions and apparently brand new material not featured in the DS version.

I nearly didn't give this game a chance but I'm very glad I did. This for me is an essential purchase for any adult gamer who likes a good mix of action, humour, 'grown-up' subject matter with a dash of old school GTA action. Brilliant.

 Not bad for PSP :)

This game amazed me when i played it on psp... but one thing that no GTa game has is that when you apply for the job of the law enforcer, you won't have backup. and i REALLY WISH that this will be added in the next Psp game that rockstar launches.

On the other hand not a bad game :D
