The Parasite Eve series has long captivated audiences with its cutting-edge graphics, memorable characters and cinematic storylines. Now Aya Brea is back in action on the PSP (PlayStation Portable) system. Thrilling drama unfolds as you unleash all-new abilities in this unique RPG/shooter.

The latest installment in the series features an all-star production staff including producer Yoshinori Kitase (Final Fantasy series), director Hajime Tabata (Crisis Core - Final Fantasy VII), character designer Tetsuya Nomura (Kingdom Hearts series), art director Isamu Kamikokuryo (Final Fantasy XIII) and music by Yoko Shimomura (Kingdom Hearts series).

Hideous creatures descend on Manhattan. Ground reports from the squad tasked with containing the pandemonium refer to these life forms as "the Twisted." An investigatory team known as the CTI is formed within the year.

The Overdive system emerges as a means of opposition, but only one viable candidate exists - Aya Brea. A gift as she awakens from a lost past on this, the occasion of her third birth.
  • Suitable for 18 years and over. Not for sale to persons under age 18. By purchasing this product, you declare that you are 18 years of age and over.

In general, the game is awesome.
Has been a while since I have been addicted to a game.
A Parasite Eve spin off, but as you can see, the title does not have Parasite Eve in, so do not expect it to be similar to or related to Parasite Eve, except for the recurring characters. If you do, you will not enjoy the game as much as you could do.
Hardback book is of great quality, lithograph prints are amazing too.
A code for the Aya Brea costume to use in Duodecim is available.

It should be noted that, if you like to complete games fully, i.e. 100%, everything unlocked, completed etc, at the time this review is written, I am not so sure if you can do so. Many unlock-able items still have no confirmation on methods to unlock them (in the PAL version).
e.g. The Lightning costume for Aya, the OD suit are items that are definitely in the game, as I believe some files created by people can unlock them, but legit (gameplay) methods are yet to be confirmed for the PAL version. Many methods apply to the Japanese version and no one has confirmed if they work for the PAL versions or not.

 Simply amazing

9 times out of 10, I'm generally not a fan of shooter games, but this got me hooked. The graphics are amazing. The Overdrive is pretty cool. And the mystery surrounding Aya Brea gives an added incentive to play just to figure out how she ended up where she did, and you'll really sympathize with the character.

This game has depth and quality like few other games out there, and it's so worth the money.

 A great PSP game!

This game is great, the scale of the boss battles, the story, the graphics and cutscenes, the gameplay, etc.
The artbook and box are really nice too and the red box for the actual game looks really good, wish they'd do that more often!

This is a game well worth owning, especially as it's only 17.99 and that includes an artbook, lithographs and a Dissidia 012 DLC code!

This is what its all about. Totally engrossing. The PSP needed something like this to bring out its full protential. Can't stop playing it. I got the guide book as well which is also worth having as it fills out the story line brilliantly. The whole package is Awsome, pity its not on the PS3.
