It was an awsome game! Sure they've taken out the crash mode (which i miss) but the cars u unlock and the limit u have to push yourself to get to the end is awsome. Really like this game.

I didn't get this game from play.com, but I just wanted to comment on how much this game is wrecked. Firstly, the whole point of burnout is crazy crashing and that, so why in the world have they taken out CRASH EVENTS! It's like taking out the driving controls from a driving game, theres no point of burnout anymore. Also the crashes look boring, and it is boring.

If you want a great crashing, mental and original game, get BURNOUT LEGENDS. It's the best burnout on psp, I loved it and I wish I hadn't bought dominator, one day I'll the get the older game again, this is how much the game is WRECKED!

  Great Fun Game

A Burnout game without the Crash Mode for the PSP? Surely not! I must admit that I wasn't sure if this game was going to be any good with the crash mode removed...but after playing I must admit I was pleasantly surprised and I really like this game.

Sure, I guess the Crash Mode is missed in a way but I don't think that harms this game at all. It's a blast to play and you can download extra tracks which is always a good thing.

I do miss Traffic Check though...

  No Crash events???

As a big fan of Burnout I was immensely disappointed with this. Sure, it's fun has a great soundtrack etc but after about a week I'm finding it far too repetitive. Ok, so the events differ slightly but it all amounts to the same overall.

And no crash events? On Burnout?

3 stars because it is fun and 2 stars is too low, but Need for Speed Carbon is the better PSP option.

  very good

ive had this game nearly a week now and i really like it because there quite alot of choice in the cars you use and i like the crashbreaker it makes the crash ook real.until youblow your car up that is.overall it is a really good game with nice cars too.

The Burnout series has many great games. This is no exception. This game has the speed without sacrificing detail. It improves on Legends by the ability to chain Burnouts, as seen in Burnout 2 and the amount of tracks. The track design is great for takedowns and there have been to extra tracks released ALREADY. Who knows how many more are to come. There are many cars as well, all of which feel different to one another. There is still the Custom Coupe Ultimate, which most Burnout fans would agree, is the games signature car. The Graphics speed and gameplay is what you would excpect from Burnout which is to say excellent. Its only downfall is the lack of Crash Mode but maybe this isnt so bad as Legends' Crash Mode was awful compared to the PS2's, but it would have been great if it was in. If you own a PSP this should be one of the first games on your list and definitely in your PSP collection at some point. Must Buy for PSP owners!

AWesome but could do with more levels

It is a great game if u love all the burnout series, but i am glad that they dont have the feature where u can shunt the cars from behind because i thought that, that made that easy and took away the experience.

The experience is really good and as it is handheld you feel really in the action and makes the experience all the better. The one drawback though is that there arent many levels to the game and i would of liked to have seen more levels added to it.

  Breathtaking experience, faithful addition

The PSP is showing its power time and time again. Dominator is crisp and beautiful to watch and play. Slow motion crashes and revenge takedowns never looked so good. The game is well represented with the levels of difficulty and seperate car classes unlocked as you achieve more rankings in earlier races.

One thing I sorely missed was the Crash Junctions. Its a brave move to remove them from the game but then I also feel I've had more than my fill of them over the previous titles.

There has, however, been the return of continuous boosting, if you can refill your boost bar before your burnout ends then you get to continue boosting, the more you stack these up the higher you score. Some challenges have you trying to get the highest stack of boosts and send you speeding around the laps at blistering speeds preying nothings going to get in your way.

Plenty of unlocks mean you'll be coming back to this to get that last gold medal or high score. Also various mulitplayer modes are available to humiliate your mates with but theres nothing particularly new on offer in that area. I would strongly recomend this to anyone new or experienced in the burnout series.

Ideal to get us warmed up before Burnout 5 comes out!
