Yes, there is no carear mode. But there is a sort of story mode where you go through the rocky fims. The game also has pretty much every boxer from the films. When you complete the story as rocky or the "good guys" you can play as people like glubber lang and be the "bad guys" and fight Rocky. This game can keep you amused for hours. This was also my first PSP game so i do love it.

I would recommend this game to all Rocky and fighting lovers

I gave it 4 star because it does evntually get boring

The game is what every other reveiwer has said, an enjoyable and entertaining boxing sim. I will warn you now that once you have been knocked down, getting up can be quite tough, so tough in fact that i feel this game deserved an 8 out of ten but i could not forgive the unecessary toughness of getting up from the canvas. Maybe some of you will take to it a bit easier, just a word of warning. Overall 7/10 a great game well worth the money.

I must of only played on this game about 3 to 4 times but i think its a great game its fun, action packed and really iteresting. Most people say playstation2's have better graphics than psp's that may be true but this game has graphics like a playstation2.On this game you can be characters from every film well mostly every film. And you can unlock boxers.

this game is the best. it takes you all the way back to the first iflm and works up to the new one.and once the new enemy has been defeated you have to fight rocky. the game is relativley easy.

This game is just pure entertainment. The historical fights are great where you recreate moments from all the Rocky films so far and the addition of clips from the film just before you start the fight just add to the feeling of fun you get from playing. You name the character and they're in here somewhere, and theres the option to fight any one against any other. For example you could be battling Rocky from Rocky I against Rocky from Rocky Balboa or Clubber Lang vs some random character from Rocky V.

The only fault I would say this game has is the infuriating knock-down system. Its just about impossible to get back up again using the apparently random balance thing. I still haven't got the hang of that and the only way I've found of getting around it is to just try and stay on my feet!

All in all great fun, which surprised me to be honest as normally I'm not into this kind of game.

  Superb gameplay

I recently bought this game and I must say I am impressed. The fight scenes are very realistic and the ame play is brilliant.

The commentary and cut scenes are taken from the Rocky movies which add a great touch to this game. It can be quite difficult to knock your opponent down but this makes it more satisfying when you eventually do. The hard part of the game I found was getting up from the canvas, once you have been knocked down. But I'm sure I'll master this eventually.
