     Rubbish

The game states that you can feel the freedom of riding on the creatures and so on but there is no freedom to this game in the slightest. It is very much a platform with only one direction to go and very easy to complete.
Is a shame as the PS3 version is supposed to be good.
    A massive let down.

     A class below the movie...

AVATAR, the most anticipated movie of the year, the focus of the OSCARS/BAFTAS but the game is not at par. The PSP version has beautiful scenery and graphics but is let down due to the boring gameplay. You have to follow the path of lights and gain health as you collects the lights and kill the human bodyguards as you go along. Not the greatest film game ever made and not the worst.

    Pros:
    . Completely new story
    . Immersive Graphics
    . Fun using bow

    Cons:
    . Gets quite dull
. Not nearly as good as flim
. Can't choose which side to be on i.e Na'vi or human.

     Rather repetitive and uninspiring

The hype as always is good but this game does not do much justice to its bigger brother. Gameplay is almost wireframe, the graphics are very basic and it soon becomes a tedium to continue playing. Character movement is jerky and the range of movement is not that great. Even the hissing ambient soundtrack soon gets annoying. Basic idea is to complete various missions by running through the jungle and man-made compounds killing off the Company reps as you proceed and gathering life-energy points en route (which can be exchanged for various minor upgrades). It gets a 12 rating for violence and language.
