Review

For years the Patapon tribe has lived in the desolate frontier, driven from their home by the evil Zigoton army. Behind the Patapons' cute exterior, lies a fierce warrior spirit that can only be commanded by the beat of their God's war drum. They wait for the day that the "Almighty" will return, to lead them against their enemies and bring them back to their homeland. Finally, their wait has come to an end as the drums of war are heard once again.

This truly is an excellent game. The overall look and style of the graphics is simple, but visually stunning. I found the gameplay itself very tricky at first, but got the hang of it, so dont just dismiss this if you cant "keep the beat" early on! Its very rewarding when you finally work out what you are doing! There is basically an unlimited ammount of gameplay here, so if you want to keep fighting the bosses (which grow in power each time), even after you have watched the end credits; you can. If you own a PSP, and don't buy this game, you are doing yourself a great injustice!

This game is amazing for a number of reasons. It packs completely original rhythm-action gameplay in a well designed and nicely presented 20-hour+ package. There's not much to say about this game, other than BUY IT NOW! If you're a fan of rhythm-action games you'll feel right at home but if you've got the gaming equivalent of two left feet the game will help you build up skill with a very forgiving difficulty curve. That makes it by no means easy though.
You have to have a heart of stone not to love this game.
