The psp is lacking in great games,but this is one the best games on any console.Quite hard in places but has a great feel in controlling your lttle army.Stylish graphics and catchy tunes / sound effects.Very original in its concept.

...is what this game is. fun as hell. addictive. i was so unsure what to expect when i saw "2d war strategy game" and i was gripped form the moment i turned it on, well executed, a brilliant game. and whilst searching for this game to write my review and saw patapon i was happy :)

This game is so good it doesn't need me to review it others have already told you how good it is. All I can say is "Buy it!!" you will love every detail of this quite frankly hilarious addictive game.

A brilliantly simplistic game, though one which is very challanging, very addictive, and exceedingly charming. Brilliant fun and possibly my favourite game for the PSP.

a word of advice plug in some headphones for the ulimate epxerience as we all know the psp speakers are a bit naff but and the sounds are wasted ive actaully danced around the room and tap my foot when playing this game and keep discovering more stuff genius :D

It is obvious that a game about little eyeballs with legs brandishing spears and arrows will not be to everyone's taste, but it has to be said that this is a brilliant game.

The design is simplistic but the game is challenging. The first few levels are easily completed, but the game gets more difficult as it continues.

It is sometimes very hard to keep the drum rhythms in time with the Patapon's chanting, and I suspect that this is why this game has also received some one-star reviews.

This game is an RTS with plenty of humor as well as interesting and challenging gameplay. The good thing about 'Patapon' is that it is totally unique. You won't find something quite like this anywhere else.

The only downside of the game is that the incessant chanting and rhythms really stick in your head after a while. I played for twenty minutes the first night that I bought it, and three hours later I was still humming 'Pata Pata Pata Pon' to myself!

However, if you think that this game sounds mad, it is! But it is seriously worth a go. Why not try it for yourself and find out?

FUNFUNFUN. The rhythm will get you! This game looks stupid but it is very strategic: you need the right commands, and you plan according to weather and other such things. Recommend 4 rhythmic gamers, casual gamers and hardcore gamers. Buy it!

If you have played LocoRoco, then get this. The graphics are beautiful and simple. The aim of the game is controlling an army of patapons with a drum beat. You hunt to get more meat and doing the levels will reward you with a new type of unit and materials to create patapons. Levels can be quite difficult in the game, but you dont realise how long you are spending because you will be "pata" "pata" "pata" "Pon"ing away with them. However one mistake will cause half of your army to fall over and get angry with you. In a very cute and delightful way.

I got this game about days ago.
Its a very good game but it loses a star for some of the levels. I mean, a hard level in this game is VERY hard.
Takes about 5 tries to get past a hard level.
I thought it was brilliant though. Reccomended if you like rhythm games(E.g Guitar hero0
