Best football management game on PSP

The historical problem with PSP management sims have been that they've all felt quite poor interpretations of their more illustrious platform editions. So many elements of PC formats were removed to 'fit' the PSP and in doing so the game lost a lot of its feel. The transfer system and filters felt clumsy and player interaction was poor. Whilst there is undoubtably room to improve on this, for the first time ever what you say to players, decisions made with substitutions during the match etc etc actually feel like it makes a difference to the teams performance.

A slight grumble would be on the transfer market which is unrealistic - players who hand in requests valued at £5m for example, will rarely move even on that transfer status for anywhere near their value despite being 'unhappy' at their club. Bids for players valued at 3-4m often need top be near 9-10m in order to secure their move.......

Another gripe would be that player fatigue doesnt really seem to be a factor. As far as I can tell, a player on 80%+ fitness plays the same and as a 100% and there is no indiction of tiredness as other platforms would allow.

Despite that - by far and away the best management sim available on the PSP. For any ex championship manager addicts (in the pre 2004 era when the CM series on PC was outstanding before their little spat with each other) you will feel a comforting nostalgic feel about this title

i've never played FM on PSP before and i have to say i was(indeed) disappointed just for the fact that you CAN NOT select the "pitch" screen like on the pc version overall its just another manager game

perfect game for the psp -runs smoothly and a bit disappointed with the amount of goals disallowed.

Really realistic, It's not too easy and it's not too hard. It's a more realistic manager mode than on Fifa games. I'd definitely recommend it. Buy Antonio Valencia and put him on yuor first team, after a while he gets really good.
