Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus takes all of the best elements from the previous Portable Ops title, improves on them and adds even more elements to the online mode to create a must-have title.

Two types of multiplayer gaming is supported - Ad Hoc mode and Infrastructure Mode. The former lets users connect up to six PSP consoles for a local battle with friends. The latter connects with wireless connection to the online servers where owners can take on players from around the world. The Game Sharing mode will enable play with others who don't even own a copy of Portable Ops Plus as limited features are available to share with other users and users can also play against owners of the original Portable Ops in the Free Battle mode.

New multiplayer modes include a Shooting Range where teams have to hit targets to make them part of their 'team' whilst still attacking enemies, four new online maps previously seen in Metal Gear Solid 3: Subsistence and a host of new characters including Raiden from Metal Gear Solid 2 and Old Snake, who is about to be seen in the forthcoming Metal Gear Solid 4.

The single player mode gives you a breather from the multiplayer action and the Boss Rush Mode will let the player take on all of the bosses from Portable Ops one after another. The new Infinity Mode will test players even further, enabling them to recruit better soldiers to a squad after their capture. Other options include an online chat section and a photo function that lets you take snaps of the action or of your own elite team!

Unique Gameplay Modes and Missions - A new single player mode, "Infinity Mission," and additional multiplayer modes will engage even the most experienced strategy veterans.

Use Saved Data - Upload your saved data from the original Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops to create instant squads.

More Online Maps - Choose from a variety of new environment maps, such as an updated version of the REX Hangar area of the original Metal Gear Solid, for more multiplayer mayhem.

More Playable Characters - Recruit brand new soldiers from the Metal Gear Solid universe, including Raiden and Snake from MGS4, to form a unique fighting crew.

Wi-Fi Hot Spot Support - As long as there is a Wi-Fi signal, you can be in the battlefield. With Wi-Fi HotSpot support, you can now play Metal Gear Solid: Portable Ops Plus online at any Wi-Fi HotSpot location.

Improved Support - Tutorials and improved in-game support helps players of all skill levels to jump right into the action or hone their skills.

           TERRIBLE

This game was without a doubt the worst game I've ever bought(even more than Full Spectrum Warriors which was pretty crap). If you're looking for a stealth action story than never get this. Theres no story just ten little stages for the entire diffuculty that take less than 30 seconds to complete each. I completed this game on easy and normal within an hour and a half. The first chance I got I traded tis game in. WARNING!!!! Do not I repeat do not buy this game for danger of boredom, frustration and annoyance. If you do want a stealthy story game get the version that does have storyline(Metal Gear Solid:Portable Ops) or Syphon Filter. NEVER get this game for risk of head explosion from boredom. I think i've made my point quite clear.Eh? (By the way I'm not Canadian)

BEST GAME FOR PSP, as long as you have Wi-Fi

The whole point of this game is for the AMAZING online multiplayer. The story line seems very easy untill you reach Hard and Extreme mode. This levels will annoy you at first but after a little practise you can get through with easy, Its a must have for any online multiplayer fan !

           Best game on psp

A must have for the psp, you will get addicted to online gaming on this as you join clans to fight epic battles or just play for a few minutes.
The single player is not awesome but in search of the best soldiers and items you will play it and will mostly enjoy...
Portable ops was actually the first mgs game I played and I can't believe I never played a mgs game before now.
          Can't wait until mgs4!!

           BRILLIANT

This is a fantastic game, and is probably one of the best on PSP, its literally like playing MGS3, but on a Playstation Portable instead. Its got great graphics and identical gameplay to the PS2 games. And when your board of the Single player mode, you can go online or fight your friends, using squads you've build/captured in the single player game. There's a few 'minor' details such as single player missions becoming slightly repetitive or boring, or the main games a bit too short, but thats why a multiplayer mode is there. and with the new 'added' content in 'Portable Ops+'it just makes an already great game even better.
