- Play as any of the 77 legendary characters from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors video game series. Yoshimoto Imagawa, Goemon Ishikawa and Kunoichi will return as playable characters. There are also two new unlockable characters Orochi and Da Ji.
- Go into battle with your own three-person tag team using characters from either series with the new Team Battle System. Form a team using any three available characters. At any given time, one warrior will be engaged in battle, while the other two are recuperating, restoring their Life Meters and Musou Gauges. In battle, the player can rotate to a different character in real-time.
- Match wits against the Serpent King Orochi and history's mightiest warriors! Ancient China and Feudal Japan will collide in four original storylines.
- Marvel as China's mighty Lu Bu faces off against the fierce samurai Tadakatsu Honda, then bear witness to the encounter between two powerful warlords Nobunaga Oda and Cao Cao.
- Combine attributes from different weapons for more devastating results with the new Weapon Fusion System.
- Play previously played and unlockable stages with any combination of available characters in Free Mode.
- Step into a Gallery with over 300 artifacts from the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors series.
Warriors Orochi boasts an amazing roster of 77 playable characters from both the Dynasty Warriors and Samurai Warriors franchises, while four action-packed "crossover" storylines unveil events where characters from either series are pitted against one another. For the first time in Koei's Tactical Action games, players can create their own three-person tag team. At any given time, one warrior will be engaged in battle, while the other two are recuperating; restoring their Life Meters and Musou Gauges. Every character is categorized according to offensive ability, and with new fighting techniques, it's up to the player to find the most lethal combination of warriors.

This game is by far the best from the ones that are available on PSP. I have dynasty warriors, dynasty warriors 2 and samurai warriors; but it's pointless to say that warriors orochi beats them all with eyes closed.
The game has a really nice story, perfect in almost every way, good graphics too. You won't get so bored playing it... because there are alot of things to do. The only problem is that you only get to kill waves and waves of soldiers :/.
Getting all 77 characters is hard enough, not to mention obtaining each skill from all of them, and getting their proficencies to the max to get every combo and also their special item.
I love warriors orochi, and it's truely addicting for those fans like me, for the rest.. ehh enjoy watching the previews first :)
