Madcatz PSP Component Cable

This works great once you work out what your doing, there is a switch on the side of the lead from component to composite, whats not mentioned, is that what ever the switch is set to when you connect it to the PSP thats what it stays as, so if you switch it whilst connected, it doesnt change, you have to unplug from the psp and reconnect.
Once i realised this it works great, otherwise you get a pink screen on component connection, if the switch was set to composite when connected to the PSP.

Its only compatable with PSP SLIM (aka 2000) since the original doesn't have TV output functionality.

For anyone interested in playing PSP games on their TV, remember, your TV has to support PROGRESSIVE scan and games can only be played over component (there should be 5 "phono" sockets at the back of your TV). If your TVs an LCD/Plasma and made in the past 3yrs your bound to have it.

Anything other than gaming work fine on composite/ non-progressive TVs! This includes watching UMD films.

The three cables; Red, Blue, and Green are the video cables. The other two (red and white) are the standard stereo audio cables which can be pluged into what ever sound system you many have.

Sorry this is not a review, so i will delete it after a week or so.

is this just for psp slim?! or will it work on the old ones aswell because i know the slim supports it

my tv only has three component ports(red blue green) will this cable still work for both sound and picture?
