Sony PSP 3000 Slim & Lite Black Console Base Unit + FIFA 09

Good package

Fifa 09 is great but just to clarify, apart from psp and fifa 09, you get mains charger and thats it, no memory stick etc which is a pain, no headphones etc but still gd fun

Previously having used the PSP 1000 and PSP 2000 models there were some significant changes mainly being based on the new inbuilt features and slight ergonomic and aesthetic design points.

Initially there was not much to differentiate between the previous PSP 2000 and the PSP 3003 for many people you should be able to navigate and familiarise yourself with the new system easily if not for the better.

I have used the various revisions of the PSP for a while now and the PSP 3003 does have its pros and cons due the issue of interlacing on the new screen.

Many people would complain about this screen fault as it does me as it is considerably noticeable when andy user input is made via the buttons whether in software or in game.

This issue was not apparent on the PSP 2000 model though it did occur on some of the PSP 1000 models.

That aside the changes in the PSP 3003 are a nice touch the first change coming as an inbuilt microphone which can be used in software and games the other the ergonomic revision to the frame and the buttons which make for a slight easier and more comfortable user experience the final change is the aesthetic change to the buttons and logo placement as this system more clearly defines itself as part of the Playstation logo.

I will be using PSP 3003 for a while choosing not to upgrade to the newly announced PSPGo revision as that unfortunately doesn't support downloads of import titles though I hope this will change in the systems future.

The psp 3000 has been great, perfect for what we bought it for. Makes the ps3 even better.
