Controlling an army of lemmings, the aim is to get as many of these cute characters as you can from the entrance point to the exit point of a level within a time limit. Easy to learn, difficult to master; Lemmings is a test of strategy and fast thinking as you make 'on the spot', life or death decisions for your band of trusting little creatures.

Use the unique skills of your lemmings team to overcome the hazards ahead: the 'Bomber' explodes at will, the 'Floater' can survive high falls and the 'Basher' digs horizontally just when you need it. The 'Climber' is at hand for those tricky mountain ranges, the 'Blocker' creates an obstacle in the path ahead and the 'Builder' is there to construct walkways for his friends.

Stretch your strategies across 100+ levels as you lead your lemmings across an immense variety of challenging backdrops. The levels are arranged into five striking themes, each with its own unique visual flavour. So, whether it's going underground into the sewers or marching through fields and forests, the lemmings always have new terrain to explore.
  • Watch your step with these addictive little creatures!
  • New levels, global communities... level building and sharing!
  • 5 million Lemming fans can't be wrong!

A Classic remake that retains its roots

Its always a worry when a classic game is remade on a newer machine.
But the PSP version remains true to its roots.
Its fun, addictive, and just about any gamer can pick it up and have a stab.
You will be humming the soundtrack in no time!
The levels remain true to the origional and just as taxing.
yet the revamped graphics are awesome.
Its such a shame that lemmings 2 was never brought out on anything other than the Amiga.
Also, its a shame no other version of Lemmings incorporated the unique multi-player or the extra levels of the sega megadrive version.

Still, an excelland game worthy of your cash.

 Lemmings NOT a Lemon!

So true to the multi-million selling original ..lasts the test of time due to it's simplistic deviance.
this game spawned so many inferior copies, only a few of which have made it onto handheld consoles..
If you like this (& you will) ..hunt down a copy of cannon fodder (get orff moi laand) which is in the same vein & just as enjoyable, definitely one for long journey's the young OR older gamer alike, perfect for the ladies as its cute yet savage, be prepared to share your psp with others when they see this game!

brilliant puzzles! even lets you create your own levels and submit them for other people to play on! the biggest step forward a lemming could make. about 5cm.

 What no, Nuke-em button!!

This is a good conversion to the psp it fits nicely onto the hand held and the controls work aswell as you could expect.

But the only gripe i have is the abscence of a nuke 'em button and i did not realise how fun it was to line up all those lemming and just watch them all blow up desimating the landscape as they pop or just the satifaction of having to nuke all the blockers before you can continue to the next stage.
Its abscence took more from the enjoyment of the game they i thought it could. Still a good puzzle game though

 A Gaming Classic

Over past 15 years I've played many games but few stick in the mind like Lemmings did on the old Commodore Amiga. This newly restored version for the PSP remains faithful to the original with its gameplay and taxing puzzles. Never before have the lemmings looked so good. With so many levels to guide your lemmings through you'll spend days, if not weeks, playing this game. Buy!
