 Brilliant game

This game is all you can expect and more. The main story missions will keep you entertained for a few hours at most, and with the ability to download users maps from the Internet, you can play hundreds of new levels every day. On a regular basis they release new costumes, stickers and game packs to add to the levels (Turbo pack is highly recommended) and My Moon will keep you entertained for hours. The layout is incredibly simple and easy to master, and you'll be making lifts and cars in no time. There are a few issues to begin with in getting a hang of the controls and which tool is appropriate for the job you want it to do, but that doesn't last long. It's not as feature packed as the PS3 version for obvious versions, and they have yet to release a water effect tool but what there is still amazes me to this day.

Overall an epic game which should not be missed, grab the game now and have fun forever :P

I pre-ordered this way back in July. Now it is finally here and my goodness was it worth it? Yes! The developers have done a marvelous job of fitting this title onto Sony's PSP. I have played it a lot since getting it and can honestly say it is a lot of fun and very addictive. Stephen Frys narration is top notch and his tutorial videos for the frankly fanatstic level editor are a joy to watch and listen to. Even though this game has only been out a week, there are already loads of quality levels to download from the community moon. The only downside to this title are the slightly long load times, although this is only a slight problem. 15 to 20 seconds to load a level is no where near as bad as on some previous titles on the handheld.

Bottom line, buy it now! It really is very good!

 Absolutely fantastic!

The original LBP intrigued me as I watched it's development for the PS3 but as I don't own the console the game passed me by. When I heard a PSP version was in the works I was actually quite excited, especially when it was said that the aim was to fit in as many of the features found in the original game.

Well it came out this week and after reading a load of extremely positive reviews I took the plunge - wow!

Though I can't compare it to it's bigger brother on the PS3 the style, execution and overall "feel" of the game is fantastic. It's a lot of fun to play (not to mention really rather adorable) and being eased through the features by Stephen Fry is great; his voice suits the narration perfectly!

I've only had a very brief play with the editor but I can see that - with some patience - there's an enormous amount of options for creativity.

Frankly I'm just disappointed that I need to go to sleep and stop playing :)

 Great fun

I didnt enjoy playing the PS3 version of LBP. It was fun but I only played for an hour before I wanted to go back to call of duty.
I think the PSP is the perfect fit for it. The levels are perfect for train journeys and theres alot of replay value to collect all the stickers. Also although the game just came out there are loads of user created levels! I dont think I can be bothered to create any levels but with all the free levels out there you could keep playing for ages!
The gameplay is really simple platforming. Just run and jump through each level/ Its simple but fun. Also the music is surprisingly good and catchy! Ive been humming one of the tunes all day!
Steven Fry does the voice overs and he does a really entertaining job.
I definitely recommend this game. Its good for on the go but can keep you busy for ages to come.
