Tekken: Dark Resurrection takes all the top elements from the latest arcade version of the world's best-loved fighting game and introduces a host of new, PSP-exclusive features to deliver great mobile gaming.

As you would expect from any Tekken game, the graphics are razor sharp, pushing the PSP to its limits. Two new characters from the arcade version, Dragunov and Lili, allow PSP owners the chance to try out some new moves. With the return of classic fighter, Armor King, the list of combatants goes up to a jaw-shattering 30 characters, each ready to fight across 19 ass-kicking stages. In addition to the conventional arcade set-up, a variety of new game modes deliver a "play anytime, anywhere" experience, perfect for gaming on the go, and the inclusion of wireless two-player, head-to-head combat means that you'll be able to stuff your mates any time, any place.

With extra items to customise your fighter and new movie sequences, exclusive to the PSP, Tekken: Dark Resurrection is the ultimate beat'em up experience. You'll need to fight harder than ever before to rise through the ranks and beat down all opposition. With competition this intense, it's a good thing you can take the PSP anywhere to help hone your fighting skills...

Stunning Graphics: The beauty of Tekken is re-created on the handheld console, delivering one of the most realistic graphics on a handheld platform. A variety of destructible objects pump up the action on 19 stages!

Variety of Characters: Play as one of over 30 characters, including classics Jin, Heihachi, Paul, Law and more. New characters Lili and Dragunov join the classic cast with all-new fight styles and moves. Collecting victories to lead your character to become king rewards you with ending movies for each character!

Customisable Characters: Use your fight money to customise your characters - with more than double the items seen in Tekken 5, the sky's the limit on the unique look your character will have!

Ad-Hoc Multiplayer Battles! Using Wi-Fi connectivity of the PSP platform, you can battle against your friends - take your customised, original character against theirs and let the battle unfold!

Bonus Mini-Games: Minigames provide a little breather from heart-pumping fighting action for more fun against friends!

Tekken is one of the more accessible beat 'em ups and this incarnation for the PSP is no exception. Old fans and new will appreciate the games forgiveness (like in never really having to learn how to block) and button bashers will be in their element whilst mashing the joypad and pulling off all manner of crazy moves.
That's not to say that there isn't room for mastery and an accomplished Tekken player will always pwn a button bashing noob but all things being equal it's fun for everyone.

The game looks insanely good and I think it's the best looking game I've seen on the PSP. There's a great range of characters to choose from and plenty of unlockables to keep the single player occupied and rewarded. Multi-player is where the fun's really at, though, and if you've got somebody to play with then buy this game like your life depends on it.

         Good game

Is the best PSP fighter released for the system. It blows its competition right out of the water and everything about the title, from its graphics to its mini-games to its multiplayer options, are exactly what the PlayStation Portable needs. But let's take that one step further -- Namco Bandai's Dark Resurrection is also the best arcade port available for Sony's miniature platform thus far, and even more impressively, one of the PSP's most outstanding pieces of software for any genre. Yes, it's that good.

         A Truly Incredible Game!

This game shows the PSP off at the highest level. The graphics are spectalular and are just has good, or even better than on the PS2! There are LOADS of different things you can do, story mode, tekken dojo, tekken bowling and much much more! You can learn over 20 different moves for ALL of the characters, of which there are over 30 to choose from! Even more, you can watch different cut scenes for each character which is so detailed its amazing! Finally, with all of this you can even play with a mate with game sharing, so they dont even have to have the game!
If you are looking to buy a PSP game, and you haven't got this, then for your own sake, get this. If you dont, you will be missing out more than you can imagine.

         good game =)

I didn't expect much of the game when I bought it because I was in a hurry at an airport... But that was one of the best plane journeys ever! The game is amazing, and although the fighting never really changes, the character choice is better than ever, the battles are never ending, and the selection of moves are astounding. Graphics good through out complex or high speed areas.
