Rock Band: Unplugged brings the award-winning full band experience found in Rock Band and Rock Band 2 to a handheld console for the first time! Rock Band: Unplugged challenges players to start a band and tour for fame and fortune while learning to master lead/bass guitar, drums and vocals - only this time as a one man band!

The unique multi-track game design combines the overall artistic look, functionality and customisation options of the Rock Band games, while also featuring enhanced options tailored specifically for the unique abilities of the PSP. Control all four instruments at once by hitting the coloured gems in time with the musical tracks - but you must switch between tracks and maintain note streaks for all four instruments to keep your one man band alive. In addition, Rock Band Unplugged's in-game Rock Band Music Store used to purchase downloadable content will be the first game to enable the PSP's in-game commerce capabilities.

Game features:

  • Build Your Library: Expand your portable music library with DLC from the in-game Rock Band Music Store! 10 downloadable tracks will be available at launch!
  • Customisable Control Scheme: Program the controls button-by-button to fully customize the control scheme for personalised comfort.
  • Game Modifiers: Unlock all the in-game tracks, turn on No Fail Mode or turn off Solos - all with the press of a button!
  • Take on Tour Challenges: Play through mini-campaigns focused on a specific instrument, your favourite artist, your preferred genre, or a particular album.
  • Customisable Set Lists: Create your own set lists in Quickplay mode to keep the music rolling and your band rocking!

     An amazing game.

I bet that the above reviewer's first rhythm game was Guitar Hero, and thus believes that any game without a peripheral or wusing face buttons is bad. Actually, I find this game to be very enjoyable, and really fun, nearly as much as the actual Rock Band. Yes, it isn't as fun as the console versions but it is the pinnacle of how the game could be implemented on a handheld. Much better than Guitar Hero On Tour, easily worth a purchase.

The PSP has has done it again, another fantastic game for all psp fans out there, they just get even more better don't they. This definately is a must buy if you liked Guitar Hero and other rhythmic games, you will not be able to put this one down for sure as this game has got me addicted for hours on end. Brilliant superb graphics, excellent memorable music tracks and a great game to play as it not tiring at all. REMEMBER--USE HEADPHONES FOR THIS GAME, as you will feel the music more as the beats go on, you will soon find the rhythm of the music. LOVE IT!!!! DONT HESITATE TO BUY!!A MUST HAVE SERIOUSLY FOR THE PSP!! 10/10
