Datel 128MB Max Drive

I bought this item and thanks to it I have updated my PES 6 option files with new teams and logos. Max Drive comes with two disks (one for PS2 and one for PC) and a memory stick. The PS2 disk can be read on a non modified PS2 and the memory stick just works. If you read the instructions you will know how to use the graphical interface (really nice one). Great choice and great service from Play.com

Bought one 2 years ago, worked great - used it to load PES option files. So this year i got my hands on the new PES and duggout the Max Drive.

To my dismay the disc will no longer read and my ps2 displays an error message stating something along the lines of 'please insert a ps2 disc'

Tried the max drive disc in 3 other ps2's and had the same problem, the disc is in perfect condition and i simply cannot understand the problem... Gutted :(

Voila, j'ai acheté cette Maxdrive vendredi dernier, et je l'ai recu ce matin ( vendredi ) donc une semaine pour la livraison, c'est top ^^

pour moi, contrairement au commentaire précédent, je n'ai pas ce probleme, tout marche nickel

I bought this and i was dissapointed because none of the cheats saved on to worked.

You coppy the saves on to your ps2 memory card and then when you play your game the save is supposed to work or cheat you through your game but it diddn't work.

You get 2 cds one is for the pc and ones for the pc and you can't save direct to the max drive.

To put a save on to the max drive you put the ps2 cd in and make sure your memory cards are in the slots then you load up the software and move the saves from there.

I was also disapointed because you can't really add saves using the pc unless a friend has saves on a max drive if they put them onto your pc using the pc software because you cna't really find them and they don't work.

Also it would just be easier to borrow your friends memory card and coppy using ps2 if they have any working cheats you want or saves you want.

I'm not saying don't buy but make sure it's what you really want because it wasn't what i wanted and also i think the advertising is false because it makes out you can save on to which you can't.

The only reason i bought this was because i needed a new memory card and soney are expensive but i think nopw i will just stick with soney because they are reliable and do what they are supposed to also with soney theres no false advertising.
