God Of War II: Limited Edition

The bonus disc that comes with this limited edition of God of War 2 is a very interesting insight of how, this epic game was made through all the different stages of being programmed. If you like films like Troy, 300 and your Greek mythological you will love this brutal but great fun action game. The first God of War game is ace and this is just better again why can't films improve on the originals more often too. The first level you are thrown into battle with this massive Roman walking statue,which reminded me of that old classic film Jason and the Argonauts a bit. The action never really lets ups much part from some puzzles and the hidden sex game. There are many more great bosses you will encounter on your epic quest. Both the God of War games would make for a great movie if done well. If you got a PS2 you should have this game with it too.

The first god of war was my favourite game on ps2 until this came along, fabulous way to bring the ps2 to a close.

In my opinion, one of the greatest sequels of all time, and thats no mean feat considering that its predecessor was - in my humble opinion - one of the greatest action games ever created. God of War II is just more of everything that made the original great - more puzzles, more action and an intense pace that never lets up. The puzzles are not exactly brain busters but they are difficult enough that you get a genuine sense of staisfaction from solving them. The cut scenes advance the story nicely and the story is EPIC. My one disappointment was that compared to Ares, the first games final boss, Zeus is somewhat easier to defeat. That said, by the time I got to him I had been playing for over 12 hours straight. If you love gaming and you have a PS2 then you owe it to yourself to try this game. Proof of ever it were needed that the next gen arrived way before the 'last gen' had delivered on everything it was capable of.

This game is worth every penny, once you start you will find it hard to put the controller down. Its much longer than the original God Of War (10+ hours) has more weapons and is, in my opinion much better than 1st game. If you like your action games then this is a must for you. Oh yer and its mind blowingly violent/gory which is a very good thing!

This is one of the best ps2 games ever made. I really love this game and it has a major improvement from the first one. The game starts off with a boss fight which is very fun and after the first level is when the game gets really interesting because of the plot. The boss fights in this game are similar to the first one but much more enjoyable. I really enjoy the level where you ride pegasus (the flying horse) and jump onto other flying creatures and kill them. The puzzles in this game are much harder and require skill and a lot of focus in order to complete them. In this game you can also swap weapons.
