the Playstion 2 thogh after a while a found that the L2 and R2 buttons kept getting jammed

Sony's official controller is still the best one on the market for the Playstation. Since the dawn of the PS1 it has been changed very little, with only the analog controllers being added after a couple of years. The controller itself feels perfect in your hand and is designed with gamers in mind. The easily accessible buttons will stand you in good sted when faced with hordes of Zombies or trying to drift your way around tight corners.

It is this ease of use that sets this controller apart form all others. Forget the cumbersome Xbox or third party controllers (which always feel inferior) this is what gaming is all about and for the cost it is well worth the money, this is the one to go for.

I only used 2 controllers that i didt like and that was the nintendo gamecube controller and xbox (not the xbox360) controller but the sony ps2 controller is easy to use all the buttons are in reach even the analog sticks best controller yet

This is and quite possibly will be my favourite controller from any console.
Fits perfectly in your hand (unlike the xBox 360 controller, which is why I don't like it as much) and theres no strain needed to try and use any of the buttons.

Ive only ever owned 2 of these babys and they have lasted me 7 years, they have had bashes after i got a bit mad with the ps2, but they have served me well, they are very ergonomic (hope i spelled that right lol) and reliable, so overall i cannot see a problem with them, great! GREAT BUY!

In My honest opinion there have only been 1 or 2 console where i did not like the controllers, But Almost as rare it is to find one i dont like its just as hard to find one i like as much as this controll.

Great button distribution, and very strong materials, Its a control that will last and is extremely comfortable to use.

the only reason it gets 4 stars is for two reasons.

1, the shoulder buttons especially R1 can slowly loosen and become irritating as they are used alot in most games they do ware down over the years.

but 2. is because its only my second fave controll over the new nintendo wiimote n nunchuck.

but overally great controller for a great console

Always prefered the PS2 pads, great, durable and easy to use.

I have tried a couple of controllers from other manufacturers over the lifespan of my original PS2 and now the slimline version of the console. Neither has come close to the comfort, reliability and responsiveness of Sony's official controller. I wouldn't recommend any other.
