Top 100 Games Reviewer

After my luck at getting hold of the first game and loving pretty much every minute of this, I eagerly awaiting the release of its sequel, and found myself in playing another great game.

While Disgaea 2 picks up some time after its predecessor, it follows the story of a differant character, so you dont have to play the first game to understand whats going on here.

The story follows Adell, the last human left in a village after everyone else was turned into demons. In an attempt to put everything right, he tries to call forth the overlord zenon, only to summon his daughter Rozalin. The two are forced to work together to find Zenon, leading to many interesting plots in the story, and plenty of funny moments.

Like the last game, while there are quite a few main characters to play as in the story, the game lets you build a small army of your choice, allowing you to choose if you want a squad of mages or warriors to take out the enemy, or a mix of job-types so theres someone to do everything you need.

Disgaea 2 is a great RPG, and while it can be played by just pretty much hacking through the enemy, tactics is the key for alot of the battles, making it better for the stategists out there.

With a nice mix of comedy to space out the story, and plenty of things to do to outside of the main story, its definately worth picking up. I would easily reccomend this game.
