With its fully licensed squads, groundbreaking Century Stick control system and more natural camera perspective, Cricket 07 will bring players the most immersive gameplay experience to date.
This is the cricket game for both hardcore and casual cricket gamers alike. It is accessible for the new user and full of the subtleties and nuances that make the great sport of cricket so unique. The new, innovative 'Century Stick' control system will change the way all fans approach gameplay as you'll now have full control over foot choice, shot selection, shot power, and shot direction - it's never felt this close to actually wielding a bat before. You won't experience cricket this authentic without putting on your whites and walking down the pavilion steps yourself.
Cricket 07 also features a new Quickplay cricket setting that lets players crank up the game speed, ease back the difficulty setting and join the excitement of Limited Overs or fully-licensed Twenty20 extravaganzas by playing a fast-blast match of hard-hitting sixes - or slow the pace down, slide the difficulty up and steel yourself for a five day Test. For a sustained challenge, gamers can choose from a complete schedule of Australian State and English County tournaments or lead the charge in this year's eagerly anticipated Ashes campaign in the 3-mobile Series Down Under.

This game is fantastic but at the beginning is hard to get use to but the gameplay once you get into it is good. You can either slog every ball or play it safe the bowling options are all right overall brilliant game.

The best cricket game bar none

If you are looking for a really addictive, enjoyable and realistic cricket game then this is it. The gameplay is excellent and intuitive, especially the century stick batting control, and you will wonder where the time has gone once you get immersed in a game. The bowling is tricky to get the hang of, but there are plenty of options and different players have different skills and styles. There are several different modes and difficulty levels, international competitions and domestic leagues, both English and Australian, and even an Ashes mode.
Dissapointingly the players do not resemble their true likenesses and sometimes the fielding is a bit iffy, but these are minor niggles that really do very little do diminish the enjoyment of the game.
You may find that the commentary gets a bit repetitive after a while, and sometimes doesn't reflect what is actually happening, but this again is trivial nit-picking.
This is a great game and any cricket fan should have it in their collection.

 A Great Knock!!!

Cricket 07 is quality. It is without doubt the best cricket game available on PS2. The graphics are of a high standard and in term of how realistic it is, nothing comes close to it.
EA Sports have definitely outclassed Codemasters. The realism of any of the Brian Lara Cricket games is lacking and you do not get the same gaming effect as what you do on Cricket 07.
Cricket 07 is by far the best cricket game released on any format, and is a must for all cricket lovers looking for a dynamic, competitive and thoroughly entertaining experience.

I`ve had this game for a while and it is very addictive, as you would expect with EA it has loads of game modes and teams, even the county teams are in it, The problem is it can get very slow and boring sometimes when bowling, batting is more enjoyable. This game has decent graphics (it won`t blow you away) but they are ok. The gameplay is great, it really shines in this area and the commentry is ok. The only problem is I don`t think it would appeal to people who are not big cricket fans, bottom line is if you like your cricket get this game.

 AWESOME

this games controls take ages to get the hang of but when you do it is so addictive. ODI games are great but test matches came get realli boring. if your bowling in a test match, autoplay, because youll get realli bored. Batting in ODIs is great. if you like slog cricket, GET THIS!!!
