Based on the animated series Futurama, this game is a third-person action shooter featuring the four main characters from the show, Fry, Bender, Leela and Dr Zoidberg. Each character is fully playable and has their own select moves and weapons as well as different playing styles. The game is very straightforward and easy to pick up and play, and features a superb mix of action (shooting, flaming, kicking and punching), agility (jumping, climbing), simple puzzle solving (activate generator to use elevator to reach new area) and, of course, hilarious dialogue.
    • Story and dialogue written by the writers of the critically acclaimed TV series
    • Play as Fry, Bender, Leela or Dr Zoidberg, each with unique combat styles and skills
    • Exclusive new characters and locations
    • Custom-made engine captures the visual look and feel of the TV series
    • Fight your way through the futuristic streets of New New York, and explore the dark and forbidding underground ruins of old New York
    • Battle swamp monsters and alligators in the Bogad bayou at the very edge of the universe
RegionPAL: Will play on UK and European Playstation2 only

This is an awesome game, bit annoying if you die in the levels but that just makes it even better.

     Good news everyone!

Futurama is an awesome tv show but how well does it translate as a videogame? Not bad, but then again not good either. First things first, for saying its 4 (maybe 5?) years old the graphics are excellent. It looks like a cartoon thanks to the cell shading, is well detailed and has bright vivid colours. The detail seen in the cartoon is all present and correct and there are some nice SFX in there as well. The audio is spot on, the quality itself is good and plenty of tunes and sound FX from the show have found there way in. The cast are also here voicing their characters and the voice acting is excellent. The cutscenes are superb with plenty of laughter and a decent storyline and the overall presentation is a definite grade A. However, its not all roses. The missions are repetitive somewhat and there isn't much variety to the gameplay, however the pleasant graphics/audio and well designed levels will keep you chugging through. It is difficult, the controls are relatively easy to master but some parts of the game are fiddly not helped by poor camera angles. If you can bear the frustration there is a funny entertaining experience to be had. The game is small and will take only a few good days to complete but there are extras to unlock and items to collect which add some depth. No multiplayer is a downside and there is little replayablity but if you're after a game that is fun, budget price range then you can do worse and if you're a Futurama fan then its definitely worth it.

HELP ME IM BEING ATTACKED BY A RUBBISH VIDEO GAME!!!

First the game was very godd with hillarious gags and good storyline but eventually it got boring for instance the poor graphics and the gags got far too repetitive and after about one weekend i felt like throwing it out of the window. A year or so later i dug it up to see if it was any better but guess what no change It seemed a lot more rubbisher probably because I had an Xbox360 and wii and stuff like that but overall avoid
