What would James Bond do? That's the question players will answer in every dramatic moment of James Bond 007: Everything or Nothing, as the world's greatest secret agent returns in his fifth interactive adventure. First, you will think like Bond, using espionage, tactical skills, and gadgets from the Q-Lab to analyse your situation. Then you will act like Bond, using his stylish physical skills, clever subterfuge, and bold personality to once again save the world. Finally, you will see every Bond moment from the new third person perspective that shows the Hollywood cast playing out a real-time cinematic action adventure that could only come from the world of James Bond.
Returning as James Bond is Pierce Brosnan, who will lend his cyberscanned likeness and voice to the character. The rest of the cast will include new Bond girls as well as old and new Bond villains. The original script will take players through exciting locales in four continents including the Valley of the Kings in Egypt and the French Quarter in New Orleans.
To play out the challenge of thinking and acting like Bond, players will make choices ranging from direct confrontation to subtle misdirection when interacting with enemies. When it comes time for combat, Bond can engage in hand-to-hand fighting, using objects from game environments as weapons, as well as accessing guns and gadgets. The discerning player, however, may find a multitude of different options ranging from disguise to distracting guards to using cover-and using these Bond-style tactics to outsmart the bad guys will reward the player with special enhancements including Q-Lab gadgetry.
Other new features include two-player co-op missions and four-player multiplayer arena modes, all set in third person views and featuring multiple playable characters.
  • New third person perspective that showcases Pierce Brosnan as James Bond.
  • Multiple ways to complete missions, with player rewards for completing objectives with Bond style by using disguise to temporarily take the identity of a defeated foe, misdirection, and other spy tactics rather than brute force.
  • New over the top hand-to-hand fighting that includes the use of environmental objects such as bottles, chairs, tools, boards, etc.
  • Original single player storyline that immerses the player in the world of James Bond with classic villains, exotic locations, beautiful girls, fast cars, and high-tech gadgetry.
  • Missions that span exotic locales in four continents, including the French Quarter of New Orleans, a mountain fortress in Peru, a secret facility in Egypt, and Red Square in Moscow.
  • Seamless transitions from on-foot exploration to piloting interactive vehicles including cars, motorcycles, helicopters, and tanks.
  • Over 20 weapons and gadgets including the ability to grappel up or down any wall.
  • New third person multiplayer modes including two-player co-op missions and arena-style combat with up to four players.

The game is all you need for the man called Bond

I am no fan of any of the Bond films, as I've read the books and they're far better, but when I saw this game advertised in a game store, I simply had to give it a try, and I wanted to try something better than the disappointing Nightfire, another Bond game. This game was far superior on all levels.
The third person design, (Nightfire was first person and nowhere near as good), was much better and the pacing was electrifying and you really felt as if you were taking part in an epic James Bond adventure. It was amazingly atmospheric, with some exhilirating levels, and a few spooky ones too; if you get it, watch out for the level when you are up against a cremator and it's set in a graveyard during a thunderstorm. Classic horror show stuff!
There are a lot of levels as has already been pointed out in another review, but I think it only adds to the pleasure, it needs a lot of levels and they all feel different and they get tougher!! But it's a Bond game, it's meant to be tough!! Anyway, the final level is a real tough one and a worthy final challenge for a game such as this.
As before, I have no time for any of the films, except for obviously Casino Royale, but this could be a great film if they were to adapt it and make into one, but maybe the game is all you need.
I only ever owned two games when I had a PS2, The Getaway and this, and it's all I needed. This was almost as good as the Getaway, but The Getaway was totally different and darker. This however came a close runner up and it was well worth it. I played it several times and it never got tedious. If you ever fancied finding out what it's like to be James Bond, this is the game to get into.
The game is all you need for the man called Bond.

Better than quantum of solace, good voices and fairly humerous. Some very good levels as they have been clearly been cleaverly inspired by the films with out making it like reliving any of the films.
A must buy at any cost....get it!!!!!

This game is a must buy for the PS2. The switch from First to Third person is made excellently. It excells in every areas - Weapons, vehicles or hand-to-hand combat in the single player, and a multiplayer co-op campain that stands up well even today. The storyline is great, wether your battling Jaws or a Crossbow wielding Cremator, sneaking through a nightclub or driving a platinum coated tank through the streets of Moscow.
It reeks refined and suave, and why shouldn't it? After all, it is Bond. James Bond.
