  The best GTA

In my opinion the best GTA game, because of the story, the missions and the music in the game. I can also recommend GTA 3 and GTA San andreas, but this one more authentic.

Still the Best in the GTA Series

Tommy Vercetti, having just been released from a long stint in jail, is sent to Vice City by his old boss, Sonny Forelli. Unfortunately during his first drug buy he is set up and is left with no money or merchandise. With Sonny demanding his money back and everyone else seemingly wanting him dead Tommy realises his only chance is to take over Vice City himself.

Grand Theft Auto III may have been the first to take the open world game into 3D but it was Vice City that really took it to its limit. The city itself, based on Miami is, is more vibrant and interesting than any other in the GTA series allowing for hugely diverse missions involving motorbikes, boats, helicopters and even planes. Unlike the most recent outing entertainment, rather than realism, seems to have been the main concern when devising these missions. As the game progresses your impact on the city can really be felt leading to a fantastic finale set within your mansion (think Scarface!).

A quick mention also for the 1980's soundtrack that has yet to be matched. It features a mix of hilarious talk and music stations featuring the likes of Michael Jackson, Roxy Music and Kate Bush and really adds to the sense that you are inhabiting a living, breathing world.

This is the Playstation 2's best game without doubt.

  A must have

This is one of the best games series around, if not the best and this game dosn't dissapointed. Everything has been turned up a notch and has actually made it better. More and better weapons, more and better cars, bikes etc. and a new and improved story line which is introduces you to the game, islands and various other parts of the game. Just like the game's in the past and the one's in the future it. You don't have to stay with the main missons (i.e. the story line). You can go and do all the sub missions and go and explore the city, picking up things, driving and/or having a rampage in the process. This is a brilliant game in so many way's despite the violance and is one of the best games around even now and despite the average graphics because it's in the game/storyline. Even in 2010 I still play it because I enjoy it so much.
Remember it's not suitable for children as your probably aware, but apart from that it's a must buy.

  Amazing Game

I know San Andreas is bigger in almost every way and has more plots, but I can't help but love Vice City more. It has great game play, brilliant missions and fantasic characters. Plus, it's city is much better than those of San Andreas and the cars, radio stations and weapons are much better in my opinion.

I love it so much, I have just bought another one as my old version has been scratched and it keeps freezing!

Basically its a bigger world
Loads of vehicles including motorcycles
Loads of guns
A lot of missions from a lot of very interesting characters.
Graphics are good
Music is really good- so is the voice acting and sound effects.

A must buy for the PS2.

Absolutely brilliant game.
Violent as anything but also extremely tricky to master- without cheats, you spend fortunes on guns and other, fun weapons such as chainsaws, machetes and grenades.
Rise to the top of Vice City's underworld by buying dozens of properties and completing endless missions to earn money and respect.

Perfect Sequal, New; Fresh; Fun & Original

As a stand-alone game, Vice City is a monumental achievement in gaming of its' time, as part of the collossal GTA franchise Vic City serves as a vital stepping stone through the era of GTA III. Wedged between the monsterous San Andreas and GTA III (the one that started it all), the 'middle child' proves more than worthy of respect and admiration in a franchise that has already proved so much.

The setting and date of the game is exeptionally brilliant, Florida in all of its' flamboyant 80's glory serves as a beautifully vibrant and colourful background to the crime, drugs and money running rampant across the town. As southern, sunny 80's Miami suggests, there are many palm trees, bright pinks, purples and yellows, hawaiian shirts and sandy beaches giving the game an original, fresh, new setting in perfect contrast to the busy concrete city life of GTA III.

Tommy Vercetti, the protagonist, is driven to find whoever stole his money and cocaine from right under his nose, stopping along the way to shape the world of Vice City through many different character missions along the way.

As a sequal, this game gives more to the player, introducing a location map for the first time in the franchise, motorbikes and scooters are also introduced, as are helicopters. There are also many more important improvements made in this game that fit nicely to the series as it continues.

Essential game for all GTA lovers, if you've never played this game it's a bargain price for the quality of game you receive.
