The first one, wouldn't say the best one as I like number 3 more but it is very good. However, if you are used to playing 3 more like me you will notice that the hammer ons are harder to hit in this game, but apart from that very good. No battles though.

Guitar hero is one of the best games i have ever played if your a pro gamer this is a good game for you. Also if you like to play the odd game here and there again this is a good game for you.

Fans of punk, rock and metal step forward, this may be the game for you.

Guitar hero is a great game, which brings the feeling of performing in a band to your bedroom. With a selection of recent on old rock tunes that people are sure to enjoy, this game it definatly one to buy!

While its easy to pick up and quite simple to learn, this game can be hard to master, hard mode alone is a challenge for me.

The only downside for me is the 'face-off' mode where you and a friend take it in turns playing bit of a song rather then both playing the whole song, which was sorted out in guitar hero 2.

Dont expect this to teach you how to play guitar, but at least you can imagine the thrill of playing a great hit to a huge crowd.

this game is fantastic the song are very well balanced...not that many master tracks but never the less its a good game. this game is not for the person that is hyped up on good graphic quality even though the graphics arent that bad they dont match up to some of the other titles on ps2. the game deserves the publicity it recievces and i can recommened it to anyone with an intrest in the music genre it contains. 9/10

Such a good game! Fairly realistic, I have completed it many times but it is not easy! Good selection of songs and fun to play!

There has been some great games in the past that involve you using something...Eyetoy...Socom... but guitar hero puts it over the top. The interactive gameplay & the whole fact you dont need any experiance to play it. It makes you faster with your fingers i found after playing this i could A:play guitar better & B: i could play games with a normal controller better.... (This Is What It Did To Me, Might Not Concur the same with you).

On A Whole I recomend this & the second game to anyone itching to learn something & anyone who wants something to do in there spare time. GUITAR HERO IS THE BOREDOM KILLER!
