Guitar Hero: Aerosmith is the first game built around the legendary music of America's greatest rock 'n' roll band: Steven Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford, Tom Hamilton and Joey Kramer. Fans will experience Aerosmith's Grammy award winning career, from their first gig to becoming rock royalty, in a way that no other entertainment vehicle offers. As players progress through the game, they can rock out to the band's greatest hits, as well as songs from other celebrated artists that the band has either performed with or has been inspired by in some way. Venues from historical moments during the band's illustrious career offer the experience of "sweet emotion" and further capture the essence of the band's rise to fame.

Let the music do the talking: The collaboration offers consumers an unprecedented level of access to Aerosmith's music catalogue and an unbeatable soundtrack, with every Aerosmith song being a master recording. Each set includes chart-topping hits from renowned artists that the band has either performed with, or has been inspired by.

Rock this way, talk this way: Relive rock 'n' roll history and witness all five members of Aerosmith in all their glory. Motion capture sessions with each member of the band - including extensive facial motion capture featuring Steven Tyler's lip movements to every song - further deepens the experience. Additionally, multiple memorable outfits capture the band's rise to rock royalty, enabling players to feel like they're really experiencing those historic performances.

It started with a little kiss, like this: Completely redesigned venues featuring locations from historical moments in the band's career offers fans the opportunity to live the Aerosmith life. Starting with their first-ever concert at Nipmuc High School players ascend to the pinnacle of rock stardom.

Bass in the place: Enjoy the ultimate party experience in the Co-op quickplay game mode and shred as Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton or select your favourite fictional Guitar Hero.

       Guitar Hero Aerosmith

Being a fan of Aerosmith this is a fantastic game that has tracks spanning most of their career. If you love Aerosmith then you will love this game, if you think that walk this way is the best they have done then you probably will struggle with the rest of the content. for me, i'm off to play uncle salty and sweet emotion again.

GREAT ADDITION TO THE GH SERIES!!!

Guitar hero aerosmith is a really good game. A lot like GH 3 with much better songs, there is over 40 greats songs to play a majority being aerosmith songs. Only one guitar battle in it which is good especially cos its quite easy. Great game all around.

P.S. - OMG! rumors are spreading for a new GH based on a new band METALLICA!!!

       Only for the fans

Guitar Hero Aerosmith is a decent addition to the franchise, but only if you are an Aerosmith fan. Out of the 31 setlist songs, and 11 unlocckable ones, only 12 of these are non-Aerosmith songs. "The Vault" where your hard-earned cash is spent is full of songs by either Aerosmith or their lead guitarist, Joe Perry.

So that's 30 Aresomith songs in total!

I'm not that interested in Aerosmith, and can take-or-leave their songs, so this addition to the series is fairly enjoyable. The songs are easy to play (much easier than GH3) and they are quite memorable. If the Aerosmith songs get a little tedious, the other 12 tracks are a welcome diversion.

At first I was dubious about this game. The other installments (including 'Rock's the 80's) had something to suite everybody, and this game seemed to be closing the target audience a bit. However it seemed a clever move. It gives ardent fans of Aersomith a meaty playlist to enjoy, and die-hard fans of Guitar Hero get a few more songs to play before the nect one hits the shelves.

Unfortunately, if you're not an Aerosmith fan then that's all this game is good for. It's merely a filler. It plays, looks and feels just like GH3 and offers nothing new or exciting. It is really rather short and has less substance than its predecessors. Like how 'Rock's the 80's' was an add-on/expansionpack for GH2, 'Aerosmith' is an expansion pack for GH3.

For me it'll be the game that tides me over...I'll play it through each difficulty, get my 5 stars and maybe only return to it when I want to play some of the 12 non-Aerosmith tracks, or when I have another Guitar Hero Party.

4/5 as it is still a good quality GH game with decent songs, fair length and a nice distration/break between Gh3 and 4.

       Guitar Hero Aerosmith!

Really good fun, good ole guitar hero.

Good Stuff : Walk this way as an encore! , Aerosmith! Aerosmith!, The Tyler character actually mouths the right words and acts like him on stage (Cool stage btw)

Bad Stuff: Me n' a friend completed it in two hours, silly rock battle as boss level, hardly any bonus tracks to buy with game cash.

A good buy all in all but left us a wee bit dissapointed 'caus of the length of the song list. Good fun.
