4 Some fancy footwork heresteeeve | 22/06/2007 | See all steeeve's reviews (51)Top 100 PC Reviewer While nowhere near as engrossing as 'simulation' type football games like the Pro Evolution Soccer series, this is a refreshingly different slant on the game. Full of amazing tricks and great player animations, the matches are not just about winning, but about winning with style. Points are awarded for the win, but also for the amount of tricky moves you have done. The career mode is the bit I liked best - start out with a pretty standard player you have designed, build a team, challenge other local teams, win points to upgrade your created player, win special matches to add stars to your team, rinse and repeat until you rule the street! The only problem with the game is that it now shows its age. Some players who were at the top of their game when it was released are now older, and have been replaced by younger stars. Not being able to change player attributes means you will not agree with some of the statistics. If this bothers you, perhaps Fifa Street 2 is a better buy.
