I loved Sonic as a child and this game did not disappoint. A definite must how any sonic fan. Reasonably priced.

I grew up with Sonic on the megadrive and this game contains all the megadrive games and games from other sega consoles too. The controls mirror thoose from the sega controllers and is an easy play. A most amazing game, buy it for sure.

Sonics adventures on the new consoles have been pretty poor. His transition to 3D hasn't worked for me which is a shame because this title demonstrates why Sonic used to be the 2D platforming king.

Speed, great level designs and good enemies. Sonic on the Mega Drive was superb and this has all of them plus more. If you loved sonic on the mega drive then this is a must for you.

For any fan of any of the sonic games they've got to grab this bargain. Featuring a huge number of classic Sonic the Hedgehog titles this would keep any retro games player entertained for hours.
There is also a lot of unlockable materials from artwork, comic strips and other sonic games, but as ive not unlocked any yet, I'm unable to comment on it.

...Unsure though why the Game Gear version of Sonic Chaos is present on the disc rather than the master system console version?!?

This is an absolute must have!! It is so much fun playing the old games again, definately great value for money

If you've ever played a sonic game on the Master System, Megadrive or Game Gear that had anything to do with Sonic then it's here in this collection. All the main games are here to play initially and it is great to relive old classics like sonic 2 and 3, plus if you've never played some of them before, it is great to try them out (Sonic 3D was a nice change).

All the games though aren't available straight away and you have to meet certain criteria in order for them to be unlocked. I'm not sure how you do this though, I would have thought you would need to complete (or mostly complete) one of the games to unlock another game, but as yet I've not unlocked anything. This will keep you playing in order to see what other games are there but it is also a bit frustrating to not know what you need to do to unlock them.

So the great games are the main Sonic ones from the Master System and Mega Drive, the ones that are only worth a quick look are the Game Gear games and the others, such as Sonic Pinball, Comix Zone and The Ooze, are good if you want something a bit different. Either way there should be something in there for everyone.

the game is exactly the same as it was on the megadrive. I use to love the game and still love it now and my son loves it too. There is absolutely no one in the world who would not love this game- ITS A MUST HAVE!

Originally out for the gamecube, this one is basically the same but with added games from the game gear and a menu change.

I dont really need to say anything about the gameplay as it is a distinguished fact that it is brill and the graphics are super fab 2d at its best. What is dissapointing is that they did not include sonic cd, sonic fighters and sonic r, if it did this game would be getting 5 stars.

So i highly recommend this game, but if you already own it for the gamecube then dont bother.

this is a must for true sonic fans of old, the new 3D games really don't match up. but this collections has all your favorite sonic games from the retro days.
