Silver PSTWO (PS2 Console)

if you haven't already got one of these then what are you waiting for, the silver version looks state of the art. its so neat it should be kept in the mantle piece

I totally disagree with the 2 ratings above. Firstly no problem at all. Yes if you play blue PS2 games it makes a louder noise (so does all other PS2 versions).

Don't know about overheating problem (why would you leave it on for 24 hours?). Read the instructions, all PS2 says to play for one hour and rest for 15 minutes (health and safety).

The silver one is simply the same as the black slim one. You don't get nothing more or nothing less (it's the same model) only the outer casing is sliver (purchasers taste).

Buy this limited edition slick looking PS2 and it will shine and show you have taste!!

I had mine for about a year before I had any problems. I baught GT4 and it wouldn't work after that. Returned it, got a new one, and the same problem. This continued for about 7 months before I asked for a black version. Never had any problems with the black slimline.
It also got very hot if left on for more than 24 hours.

I Have had mine for 2 years and already it overheats and turns it self off frequently!

never had a problem with my slim silver ps2,it looks great,plays great and is fully loaded,remember this ps2 has the network adaptor built in were the older models you have to fork out 30 quid for,so thats a bonus in its self,the only reason it could over heat is if you have poor venitlation for the console,e.g haveing it on the carpet,is near a radiator or other warm apliances,the slimline ps2 has to be well ventilated,to let cool air cerculate as with any appliance,wether it be dvd players or xbox 360s any thing if it cant breath it will get hot,and what a cool feature it turns itself off if its to hot means you been on there to long and need a break and the ps2 is telling ya it does to,this is still one of the best consoles on the planet for games library and entainment,and it also plays ps1 and ps2 games and dvds what more could you want,bargain in my opinion
