having been a fifa guy for a while i decided to try in the PES side of football... i wasnt dissapointed! good graphics fast game play and good (if trick button combinations) tricks.
only problem is you cant tell who some of the teams are because they dont have the rights for their names... a small amount of geogrphical knowledge could solve that easily! worth all the money i paid for it!
Great!

The game is a great one don't get me wrong,
But pro evo 5 was definately better.
I'll be looking forward to Pro Evo 8, as it will inevitably succedd Fifa again.

This is the 6th in the series, obviously, and again another great game. The only problem with this is the fact that you could have several shots at goal and not score and then the oposition have 1 shot and score, very frustrating at the best of times. Pro evo 2 is the best in my opinion but i would recommend buying this.
Amazing Soccer Game....

Truly the best soccer game out there, not many soccer games out there but the good ones are fifa and pes and pes always comes out as the winner. This game is a must have for all soccer fans and even includes online play.
Best game on PS2

This game is truly genius.
Whether your playing single or mutiplayer, this game just keeps on giving. It is the most addictive game on PS2, It's a game that will keep you so entertained you won't even think about buying another game ever again (well at least until PES7 is released).
The game boasts the greatest game mode around, it's called the Master League, you start of in the 2nd Division, with a bunch of no hopers.
As the game goes on you start to mould you're team together, by buying young talent and developing them in to a better player.
Your first aim is to win promotion and get into Division 1 where you can get earn a place in the WEFA Championships where you can prove you're the best team in the world. As you're team becomes better you get a better chance of buying some real talent.
The greatest sense of acheivement you can get from this game, is when your young squad lifts the WEFA Champions Cup.
The great thing about Master League is that it never ends, you can keep playing forever.
The furthest I've got to is 2029, by then I had witnessed Wayne Rooney and Theo Walcott's retirements and I was trying to replace some of my older players with a new batch of youngsters to take my team into the future.
The game does lack licenses but this can be easily fixed. All you have to do is purchase a MaxDrive (you can find one on Play.com) download the latest Option File (from pesfan.com) for the game transfer it onto your MaxDrive, then transfer it from the MaxDrive to the PS2.
You will not find a better game than this no matter how hard you look, so I suggest you BUY THIS NOW!
Good game

This is a good game by Konami but there are some things in the game which they could improve on like licensed teams better online gaming. Although some people cheat on the online gaming the ball laggs ( the ball moves away from you automatically ). No doubt that this is a better game the fifa 07. I am looking forward to Pro Evolution Soccer 7.
Probably the best football game ever (till next time)

You would have thought Konami would hit a brick wall with creativity for this series. Every year they manage to create a new box of tricks on the pitch to entice me and my friends back to the series. This update is no exception. The play is smooth the challenges tough and the games furious.
This game can be difficult to master quickly but play it like a real football match and build up the play and you'll be playing on 'top player' soon!
This game like its predecessors succeeds in two aspects the single player master league which is basically a career mode and of course the multiplayer. With online capabilities your opponent list is now endless.
Overall, this is a cracking game only let down by the lack of full licensing. Top stuff
This Game is simply amazing

£20! for this game is an incredible price, this game has great customizing features and brilliant game play the quality of the game play is unbeaten by any other top football games such as Fifa, it may not have all the premiership teams licenced but the edit feature means you can make the kits to look like the actual kits so all is not lost, im am very impressed with this game and pro evo 6 is by far my first football game choice
