The Star Wars Saga continues with Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, the highly anticipated sequel to the fastest-selling Star Wars game ever created, which has sold more than seven million copies worldwide. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, the world was introduced to Darth Vader's now fugitive apprentice, Starkiller-the unlikely hero who would ignite the flames of rebellion in a galaxy so desperately in need of a champion.

In the sequel, Starkiller returns with over-the-top Force powers and embarks on a journey to discover his own identity and to reunite with his one true love, Juno Eclipse. In Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2, Starkiller is once again the pawn of Darth Vader-but instead of training his protégée as a ruthless assassin, the dark lord is attempting to clone his former apprentice in an attempt to create the Ultimate Sith warrior. The chase is on - Starkiller is in pursuit of Juno and Darth Vader is hunting for Starkiller.

With all-new devastating Force powers and the ability to dual-wield lightsabers, Starkiller cuts a swath through deadly new enemies across exciting worlds from the Star Wars films - all in his desperate search for answers to his past.

  • Continue the galaxy-altering journey of Starkiller, Darth Vader's fugitive apprentice, that shapes the key events between Star Wars: Episode III and Episode IV
  • Unleash the Force with more power and precision through improved controls and new powers, such as the deceptive Mind Trick, which turns enemies against their allies
  • Discover the true power of Starkiller with Force Fury, where his attacks and Force powers are exponentially increased
  • Improved targeting system enhances precision use of Force powers and greater interaction with puzzles and the environment
  • Take combat to the next level with the ability to wield dual lightsabers and punish enemies with all-new combo attacks
  • Experience the most life-like interactions with Pixelux Entertainment's Digital Molecular Matter (DMM) coupled with euphoria from Natural Motion Ltd and the powerful Havok Physics system
  • Expanded customization options such as new costumes and power-enhancing lightsaber crystals
  • Fight through all-new challenge levels designed to test and hone your fighting and Force power skills
  • Skillfully manage your combat techniques to defeat a variety of brand-new enemies, which will culminate in epic boss battles
  • Immerse yourself once again in the story that was honored with awards from the Writer's Guild of America and the Academy of Interactive Arts and Sciences

 Very, very poor

I thankful I only rented this, if I spent the best part of 30 notes for this, I'd have requested a refund.

It's a downgrade from the first. Enviroments look decent enough, character models in game are poor, AI is shocking.

The story is dire, the only reason this game was made was for more money, a cash in off the first, which had a good story. There was just no need for this dull, uninteresting story. It just gets worse as it goes.

The gameplay would have been good if you didnt have to fight the same 4-5 enemies over and over again. You get to mini bosses (there's a lot!) and you get the same quick time event. After 3 times you realise your not going to get anything different.

This game lasted me all of 4 hours, I've not completed a game this quick before as I like to make them last. But this was criminal.

Overall, save your money, I implore you. Don't give them the benefit of your hard earned, because this in an incomplete mess.

 Rip off

Bought it today and completed it in 4 hours.i suggest you just rent it. Probably only 8 different kinds of enemy in the game and is just too easy.really disappointed

Enjoyed the 1st game, had high hopes for this, however was way too short. Bad story. Easy boss fights and repetitive enemies. You dont even fight any jedi! Got on release date, sent it back on the Monday for full refund. Way to rip off fans!

Nice Graphics BUT FAR TOO short

If you thought the 1st one was short, this is EVEN SHORTER!!!! Completed in 6 hours or less, very, very dissapointed in game length. At least the 1st one entertained me for a couple of days.

The fighting and Graphics and atmosphere are better than the 1st game, but because the game is so short, I wouldn't recommend buying at full retail price and would recommend waiting until it comes down in price a lot or goes platinum for 15 quid.

The Force Unleashed? Only for about 5 hours

When i first heard about this game i couldnt wait to play it. Having seen the movie and hype surrounding it, and ofc playing the demo, i was honestly expecting something truely epic.

The first hour or so i was in heaven, graphics amazing, sound, action , everything you expect from a star wars game....that was until i got to the 3rd level. The first 3 levels are amazing, variety in fights, the giant boss fight is outstanding....however after that it just disapears into a mundane hack and slash um up with a few force powers thrown in. The Puzzles arent challenging, the enemies are reptivitve and you only have a handful of moves and finshers unlike the first game. The story alough well written is too short and far to easy to complete even on hard. The challenges add limited replay value and finding the costumes can be a good time consumer, but honestly do i want to fight the same game dressed as Guybrush Threepkiller?......no.

This game is awfuly expensive for what is offered. If feels rushed and shafted out of production before they finished half the game, if you take out the cutsences your proberly only looking at 5 hours acutal gameplay before you complete it. It is just shockingly too short. Dispite it being a fantasic game and a sequal the world over wanted to see, i dont think anyone would have wanted this half assed, short, mediocre slash um up.

I love star wars, and this game has tarnshed the franchise for me, i for one wont be rushing to get the 3rd when it comes out. If they make another and they will, i really hope they dont wreck that one as they have done with this title.

It is a shame really, showed such promise.

Worth a rent, but in my opinon wait until its in the bargin basement to buy it, but if you havent played the first one, get the first one, its a FAR better game.
