What's your idea of a good game?

    | | See all Shivaram's reviews (5)

OK, first of, this game was rushed and lacks detail, depth and all thats need for a good game. However, I am not saying this is a bad game, infact it was quite enjoyable.

Whether you like smashing everything you see, toying with your enemies and flying through an easy storymode is upto you but I just felt that they had missed a good opportunity. Right from the word go you can see that the graphics are shabby, speech is repetitive and hazy and the effects leave a lot to be desired.

The storymode is basic and set on one difficulty level, it leaves you running from place to place doing various jobs that all amount to destroying and protecting. Many of the sparse and short movies are unrealistic and sometimes move the storyline in opposite directions.

Although it is poorly done, the feeling of smashing things up is incredible and is outstandingly fun to do. The missions although bad (rubbish) are actually quite entertaining.

The game all in all, is alright and may be for some people however sega still have a long way to go for this game to be the next hit.

Good but not incredible GTA esque......

Yeah so it's not a masterpiece but for the bargain bin price of £20ish it's currently available for it is a decent game. Obviously it helps if your a fan of the hulk but it's good fun and kept me entertained for a couple of weeks.
It plays very much the same as GTA, completely free roaming but through New York with many different side games and missions for you to enjoy at your leisure!
    Hope this helps.

OK. Good points. The graphics o this game are very nice, and does look very detailed on an HDTV. This however does not make up for the poor game play and confusing progression of the game. If your looking for a good Hulk game, look no further than " The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction". (Did anybody else notice how the new Hulk movie seemed to be influenced by the game- Cars being used as boxing gloves...)

i was really looking forward to this game because from what i'd seen it was just a grapically superior version of the ps2 game incredible hulk; ultimate destruction...which was awesome to be fair. but it isn't, why they didn't just build on ultimate destruction's winning formula i don't know.
