Where to begin. Uncharted 2 is a truly exceptional game that needs to be played to be believed. The set pieces in this game seem to beat some of the biggest Hollywood blockbusters out and they surpass most things seen in games to date. Marry these set pieces up with the finest graphics seen on a console to date and your on to a winner. If you have the original or not I strongly recommend that both the uncharted games be in your collection as they are a fine set of games. Even the multiplayer has alot to offer in uncharted 2 and can easily kill a few hours without you realising it. As the title says move over metal gear it looks like uncharted 2 has stolen your crown for being one of the main reasons for getting a ps3.
Everything's already been said about this, so I'll keep this short. Great captivating storyline (especially if you enjoyed the Indiana Jones film series), fabulous visuals (best I've ever seen, even still), great gameplay, and just an all-round boss game.
It has a very good and unique multiplayer mode online. It'll certainly tide you over in times of COD-fatigue, and may very well push that game to the side in your gaming regime. There's competitive modes, and co-op ones. Any fans of Nazi Zombies on COD: World at War will get a real kick out of the survival and gold rush modes.
There is some DLC for the game, but they are reasonably priced (unlike the map packs for Modern Warfare 2). If you bought the game at this price, and bought all the extra content from PSN, you'd probably have spent around twenty-five pounds. If you don't bother with the skin packs, and just get the levels, you'd come in with slightly extra change.
All told, well-worth eighteen pounds, and I'd recommend the DLC at a few bob more from PSN. I love this game.
This is a game to get. With Intense melee combat and spectacular action stealth and graphics, Naughty Dog has produced this Essential game . With acrobat climbing and gameplay which is outstanding, this is a MUST BUY. With online game modes and maps you cant go wrong. With the added tatical element of boosters, THIS IS WHY UNCHARTED 2 KICKED INFINITY WARD OUT

Uncharted 2 is such a great game on so many different levels. the graphics are amazing, especially when it's raining. the gameplay is smooth & the controls are really straight forward too. It feels more like you're watching a movie than playing a game at times there are some pretty awesome cinematic gameplay moments. every part of this game works so well, the platforming is fun and stunning graphics make it a joy to scale buildings, temples etc. The puzzles are challenging but not to the point where you'll be stuck for hours, the difficulty is just right. The gunfights are pretty decent but not as polished as the other elelments of the game it can be quite tricky when there are a lot of enemies but again it's not impossible just expect to die a few times. i've just finished the story mode, took me just under 10hours so there's a lot to work though. only played online briefly, it was quite fun but nothing special and certainly not up to the standard of other online games like the CoD series, however it's a nice addition and adds longevity so you can't really knock it. the only gripe i had with this game was that on 2 occations i got stuck in objects in the environment where i tried to climb up something and drake had simply gotten caught in it through a glitch or clipping. the only way out is to reload to the last checkpoint. fortunately the checkpoints are pretty frequent so you probably won't have to replay much to get back to where you were but it's still annoying, however it's not enough to stop this being an amazing adventure game & for the platinum price it's a steal!!
Whilst I still personally believe the first remains the better of the 2 games I can understand why this has recieved the glowing praise it has. Naughty Dog has once again proven why they are one of the best developers in the world right now and you'd be a fool to not have both Uncharted 1 & 2 in your collections, especially now they are both at budget prices. Do yourself a favour and buy both games right now =D you won't regret it!
